Maxima Ultra 5w50.

when initially changed a bit rough. after some mileage, smooth as silk till the end for my FZ1 (can reach 6500km per oil change)

maxima extra fully synth 15W50. tried it on my 12 year old honda and noticed that it ran smoother compared to motul 300V (motul is a good brand too but my butt dyno says maxima is betta)

 

been using extra 15W50 ever since even though prices went up.

 

did not try amsoil but might do so soon (who knows? might be better than maxima)

My bike is currently using Amsoil and I must say that it is rather good. My bike's engine does not get hot as fast as when I used Yamaha fully synthetic EO. The engine runs smoother too...

Hv tried Maxima and Motul 300V, i prefer Motul 300v but the price $28/L! Must be joking!.....

The super grade of Maxima is $23/L.

Amsoil never try b4.

Been using Fuch Silkolene 10W40. Engine and clutch transmission is smooth with a little boost in performance(additional torque). Next oil change will try out Maxima.

hav tried motul & maxima already. currently trying amsoil.

 

motul 300v - too expensive, "lifespan" rather short but performance

 

maxima ultra 5w50 - nt bad considering getting almost the same performance as motul 300v n slightly cheaper

 

amsoil 10w40 - so far so gd, the cheapest of tis 3 products but still getting similar performance.....

 

i believe different bikes react differently to different brands of eo. Tried fuch silkolene on my s4 n its too hot, whereas on r1 its

 

still undecided on maxima ultra or amsoil (still need some more time).

Personal opinion - Very good. Suitable for agressive road riding..
