it will be expensive coz built in europe, eg. varadero 125 cost > S$10k.

saw the price tag in video, cb1000r 16,490 swiss franc = > S$22k.

Wow! This bike is such a traffic stopper! I really drool at the looks of the bike. However, I would very much appreciate if there is a windshield available for this bike so that cruising on the NSH will be more comfy! :thumb:

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

Nice hor deb.... that time i was at chiap lee and this guy riding it stopped by the roadside... i see... whoa its that compact!!! Its smaller then it actually looks.... but the radiator is kickass huge! http://www.moto-blog.pl/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/honda-cb1000r-3.jpg

Yup Chris, I agree with that! The bike is really too small for a 1000cc. I saw one Malay rider riding it while at 2nd Link! :thumb: But, it's nice! No doubt!

I spoke with a owner of a CB1KR. He has a very small flyscreen attached on-it barely protrudes above the cocka-doodoo instrument forehead of the CB1KR. The owner says it is good enough for him to cruise at 180kmh along NorthSouth!

So being able to windstand windblast, you can take the CB1KR for long tours.

I have learnt from studying various windscreen designs that it is the shape of the windscreen that matters, and not so much the height.

The other yet-to-be-solved problem for the CB1KR, to me, is that it is indeed too short at the rear to fit hard side panniers. Well, this will not be a problem for those who use soft panniers.

The other problem was that the CB1KR was much more expensive than the alternative FZ1 and the slightly older CB900 Hornet. Could be due to production in italy.

But I still think no one can beat Honda in it's engine design and configuration, including the CB1KR.
