But according to the stock facts technical sheet, the stock got no 125 at all.

Yah man... i spent so much only gain 9 hp!:angry:

 

I know for sure 1 way to gain "virtual HP".

 

On R6 :

90++kg rider on my bike, picks up slower, top speed of ard 265~270kmh

58++kg rider on the same bike, picks up much faster, top speed of ard 276~282kmh

 

On DR-Z :

75++kg rider got about 150~165kmh

58++kg rider got about 165~171kmh

 

So losing is a cost efficient (but definitely tiring) way to gain "hp" hehe...:cheeky:

hi bros,

 

how heavy is R6 ? I m 1.63m/65kg n always feel kinda too short n weak to handle big bikes. used to ride d Steed for 3 years but felt it was too heavy n cumbersome.

 

but nowadays c u bros zoomin past in gleamin R6 makes me itchy.

 

Hows d handling like? esp parkin on curbs n stuff. any advise appreciated.

haha.. but u oso get better power delivery.. asthetics.. and weight loss.. becos the stock exhaust is quite heavy..

From what i heard from one of my friends ,he told me his friend weigh 90+ ride his R6 06 and went up to 283 on stock bike lehs, so where got speed decrease when heavier ? maybe slower in pick up but more stable as the person acts like a damper ^__^

im 1.67/50kg.i can place both my feet on the ground but only at a tip toe manner.if i wana place a flat feet, its only 1 feet on the ground.not much of a prob apart for the fact when tryin to reverse it might be an issue so gota jus get off and push like a mechanic.might pose as a danger sumtimes when u misfoot or yr feet slips due to sum reason or unbalanced ground.b4 u place yr feet down to stabilise..yr bike is as good as on the ground.

First one was to test full mileage. I do that for every new bike. As for the rest of "not enough petrol"... erm... i transfer to car till forgot how much sometimes... Well an effort to sell petrol to friends car for some extra cash...

 

& you r right.. its not worth it.... I never do liaos.. :giddy:

u can have a container filled with petrol b4 u go ahead with the test. get an avr fc will do. how much can u earn? i wonder if run till dry, will do any harm anot.

in sg, sound fast look fast is enough. run fast fine fast die fast.

Well that was what we found out when we tested on the following mentioned bikes. Theoretically weight does affect effective torque on the wheels & final rolling resistance for top speed.

 

I mentioned 2 different weight riders on the SAME bike. Maybe he can get a lighter guy (must please be careful as it might be very unstable in setup) & achieve higher then 283kmh?

 

Anyways top speed doesn't matter in my case for a 600cc. :cheeky:

 

Yes the heavier rider provides better stability. My 90++kg finds my R6 very stabble whereas i don't :giddy:

ya , even on d Steed when its low slung also found it hard to reverse. or go slight slope.esp on wet grounds veri sianz...veri paiseh also when ppl see a man not strong enuf to push d bike...

 

if d bike fall, u can carry up tis R6 ? its abt 160kg rite?
