sorry, another noob question, if i wana change header, from the oem exhuast,there's the big box below.then there's a cable which is wit a nut connected to the box,if that cable is dicconnected after we change header will there be any problem??

i think u r referring to the Oxygen Sensor. Stock sensor is Narrow Band(Cheapo, not so accurate).

 

When you install full system, they give you the option of installing Oxygen Sensor(but not the narrow band). Narrow band sensors are not good enough for making good fuel changes.

 

The bungs were made for installing WideBand Oxygen Sensors for data logging or on close loop race systems like BAZAAR Performance or Motec ECU(WSS).

 

So, fuel system in our cases are altered with PC3. Oxygen sensors are no longer being used.

DO NOT DISCONNECT IT.. it wil set off the self destruct sequence set by yamaha.. ur bike wil explode in 10 secs..

 

dis is to prevent other manufacturers from reverse engineering and stealin yamaha's technology..

Hmmm, my advise is try siting on the bike and see isit comfortable for u. Me 1.69m and weight ard 64kg and still i'll haf to tip toe.

 

Mine OTR is ard 21k+ close to 22k..

Lowering kit alters rake & trail. Make sure the front is compensated.

Dismount and push. Better then slipping on "unwanted items" on the floor man. The R6 is super easy to push ard. (for parking that is.... just in case Keonni suan be for pushing bike when no petrol.. )

the top speed with r6 06/07 on the speedo is kinda fixed.

when the bike redlines at 6th gear, it will show 295km/h....despite watever sprocket ratio.....as its linked with the tachometer...hence not an accurate speedo. maybe accurate only with 16/45 sprocket combo on 525 pitch - can anyone confirm......

 

once i used 15/47(pick up)....the bike redline very fast....also show 295km/h........

 

now i use 16/43....also can redline....god knows wat actual speed is....

Why not. Change your sprocket size... easily differ by 20kmh. Ex R1 did 299kmh on the meter, but only to realize its like only 270kmh++ on another bike. Ride past speed cam can travel at 100kmh on my meter, coz its only 80kmh..

 

(TTS) Theoretical Top Speed depends on final drive. Then again, the video might be true... God knows

 

But I am curious on :

1. At 0:27~0:32 -> At 270km++, Based the relative vel vs the car, the car shld be zooming pretty fast past. In the vid, the car will looks like it travelling at least 230kmh?

 

2. At 1:21~1:25 --> Same as above

 

Still... its damn solid to have an average above 250kmh for a full 2 mins!!!

 

Lets go Yong Peng (100km) blast one day! 100km in 1/2 hr woohoo!!

when i rode the complete stock bike with OEM exhaust....i felt 15/47 with 520 was ideal for SG road....the pick up felt good....my opinion!
