Hi there, machine price shd be roughly close to 14K.

 

For myself, OTR cost around 15K plus close to 16K.

Hey Jimmy, replying to your previous post, difference between FZ1 and FZ6. Besides extra ponies and price that FZ1 offers, the rest is pretty much the same.

 

Lets put it this way, I do a comparison in my opinion for you.

 

In short, FZ1 has more horses, giving you the extra punch which I think is sweet. Extra price, which is not sweet.

 

FZ1 is using those inverted forks if I remember correctly which is pretty good for handling. And you have an option of interchanging it with other crashed R1s or if someone is gonna upgrade to ohlins and sell you their stocks.

 

I personally think that FZ1N has a killer look, bold looking exhaust. In terms of Naked version, I think FZ1 FTW.

 

As for FZ6, lesser ponies, cheaper. You can check www.fz6-forum.com , perhaps they have what you need. Someone did a S to N conversion.

 

FZ6 is using the conventional forks, andits not adjustable, Im not sure whether FZ1 is fully adjustable. As for the rear, we can only adjust the Preload. Which is easily resolved with extra cash. Undertail exhaust, need i say more? As you've mentioned, S version looks so much better on FZ6.

 

The list goes on.....Difference between FZ1 and FZ6. EIther way, whichever you picked, you wont go wrong. Riding will never be the same again =D

yaa so in this case, i think 600cc should be fine for me... As for long distance, i believe different models have different performances - Although 600cc is not as ideal as 1000cc, but i guess reaching Penang or Haatyai shouldnt be a prob.

 

just that my mum is asking, s4 and FZ6, 200cc different only... haaha... not much difference, must as well get FZ1... but i understand my insurance and roadtax..etc. will be very very chorrr...

Bike production offer the lowest machine price, but the aftersales service quality hmm is questionable. on top there are no freebies on the bike.

 

I got mine from asphoon. totalling up to close $17k due to coe $1889:sian: reliable aftersales cutomer service and a few freebies which left me satisfied. hope it helps in ure decision

most or in fact all fz6 owners choose not to replace the stock wind shield.

if u're really keen, go AM & buy.

it's always not recomended to use the top box as side panniers.

if yrs a 2004-2006 model, shouldn't be a big problem.

some one is selling them @ a reasonable price.
