i'm in office. xD

anyway some honest feedback.. sorry if i offended or is going to offend anyone, but i feel i need to give some feedback for improvement..

1st off, sorry guys for me being late. got caught up with condo management just before i left, but i know its no excuse. thanks Chris for waiting up. =)

2ndly, i feel that the lead bike, Arthur, was traveling too fast on the way to the designated makan place. the phantoms had quite a bit of problem catching up with your powerful pick up.. :cheeky: maybe you could have travelled slightly slower so as to allow the rest to catch up. again, just MHO. =)

3rdly, organiser/lead bike should be familiar with the travelling route.. we hor lan here hor lan there, everyone was getting impatient. even with GPS, we still did not manage to reach the pre set destination.

last but not least, the convoy wasn't tight.. riders were quite a distance apart from each other. in a small convoy like such, not so bad.. but if 30+ 40 bikes convoy with that distance, high chance got ppl go missing.. wonder if its the lead bike too fast or the riders keeping 3 second rule.. :cheeky:

i understand you guys fresh wanna go explore and stuff.. i'm also fresh.. i don't even recognize malaysia roads.. but i feel that if you wanna bring in people who are not familiar with the route you are going to take, at least should have 1 bike who knows exactly how to get there..

IMHO guys.. cheers..

First and formost, I apologise for the disappointment of all members not able to have the "Cheese Crab" as this trip is suppose to be. Sorry to all.

Firstly - Late comers, I am expecting there will be as I was part of the jam at second link myself so i understand.

Secondly - This was not a convoy travelling, if it was, I would have stated in the briefing before moving out. I had mentioned it was a straight road and thus if there was a turn, I the lead bike will slow down before hand to get the group close together. I have mentioned to travel at your own speed due to the traffic condition.

Third - This is not the first time some of the guys had came out with me. They knew that there is a possiblity to holland with me. Furthermore, I have stated in my original post that there is a possiblity to holland. I cannot please everyone. I do not have the whole malaysia map embedded in my head. I only want to go and have some bloody crab. I initate this outing but didnt started it. I was arrow to lead and I didnt push it away because it is a task someone have to do and I only helping a fellow rider and help this group. If we reach the objective, everyone is happy but if we fail like tonight, then I will get the crap because I do not know the route.

If there are 30-40 bikes on convoy riding, these will be splitted into 2 groups. Everyone will be briefed on the route and markers, marshal and sweeper will be assigned. If I were the lead bike, I will do a recce of the route before the trip, like wat I did during the port dickson trip. Anyway, if there are any trips out of SG, I doubt we will have 30 or more bikes. We can reached 20 bikes is already a big surprise.

if we were to wait for experience people to come and lead to new places, then might as well rot in here. You go through this PK thread see got anyone else organise trip or not? So far only the regular FNO and someone by the nick of 'Tanarthur' and a good guy call 'Hamsterwhale' doing the organising. You think I recognise malaysia road? If I do, do you think I need to buy a GPS for wat?

Thats it guys! I have enough of this kind of crap. I am not going to be involve in this PK again!!!! I tried my best but I get Crap!!! Hamsterwhale, you go and org for the people here lah. Need my help, you know how to get me.

Frankly speaking, I am even more disappointed than anyone of you not reaching the orginal destination tonight, thats the reason why I bothered to go and look for it!

So to the next best man. this is the POI of the "EXIT" to the initial Cheese crab place - N01 26.903, E103 56.032.

Btw, I will not have need for the PK safety vest since I getting the out of this place. So if anyone interested, I am letting it go at SGD10 or if you have normal reflective vest, we can trade too. Please email or sms me to deal.

Dont bother to PM me. Wont be coming back to SBF like I used to daily from now on.

arthur, where got prob... it's ok to me, only thing not ok is tio jam at customs, hahaa...

replay shd understand, u doing sweeping many times quite dangerous, cos so many cars jam break behind you. you got to watch out, many fast n furoius cars, make me worry for you.

keep in "convoy" lane when there's no overtaking ok.

i dun see any prob with the "convoy", since we all ride small bikes b4 or still am, we knw the limitations on the speeding up part.

arthur dun worry abt holland ok, i am looking forward to go again ok, no compains from me, stomach full full in the end still wad.

ok guys....wat replay was giving out are suggestions to improve, yes we should not lead if we are not really capable of, but we did do a disclaimer on the part where there are chances of hollanding, but i guess when i called replay to join us, i nv highlight properly to him, so this is in fact a fault of mine which im really very sorry to replay(drinks on me next time we meet up k?)

as for the convoy part, it was still good not much of a problem going on behind from wat i see, EXCEPT! for that ghostly photo...:faint:

but then wat replay saw regarding bikes not able to catch up with leadbike, there is a reason behind it, not that the fact that he was travelling fast...but....this shan't be posted out here, those of u who are interested to know, look for me personally, and i'll let u in on that....

but last but not least, well everyone was also quite pissed because of hunger, well the adage is true, a hungry man is and will always be an angry man....hehehee

but to me, the activities are juz a excuse for going out....what i like most is and will always be a ride out with u guys....

anyway gay buddy, relax as an organiser, there are always bound to have brickbats and bouquets, so why let this disappointment stop us from organising???

i'll take this as a improvement pointer on our next trip planning, and carry on from there....

To all those we attended the ride last night, sorry for the inconvinience caused, but let me and arthur learn from our mistake, and let us improve if u guys are still willing to ride on with us....

HUAT AH!!!

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

the most important thing...u have to ask yrself...enjoy or not?? if not go again until enjoy enjoy..

yeah...seem like good fun riding around ...

yeah maybe next time choose a easier route for crab, carb or even crap...i will be on the lookout for the next trip..

hey..the tremendous turnout ..wow...that show how much support u guys are getting...

so..the next time silent supporters please dont spring a surprise onto the organisers.

there are plans for small group and plans for large group so all will enjoy. also the lessson is put your name down..even last second will help the organiser to anticipate the kind of

plans/support required. this sudden huge turn out..it will scare the hell out of me to ensure all are safe and enjoy the trip..if iam incharge.....yeah am too old to incharge o anyhthing now heheh.

all i can say is....good job done organisers...for all those lost souls..please put your name down the next time okay?

Arthur, chill man.. just sharing my thoughts, please don't take this personally.. :) without feedback there won't be improvement right? =) about the non-convoy riding and the part where you didn't want to be the lead bike, i sincerely apologise.. do pardon my ignorance.. i felt that keeping the group tight would be easier for management.. i know how fustrated you must feel bout not being able to find the place, cos i just hor lan 100KM in JB to no avail looking for A&W last week. we're all human, we make mistakes. we fall, we stand up and walk again.. :shades:

replay shd understand, u doing sweeping many times quite dangerous, cos so many cars jam break behind you. you got to watch out, many fast n furoius cars, make me worry for you.

keep in "convoy" lane when there's no overtaking ok.

i dun see any prob with the "convoy", since we all ride small bikes b4 or still am, we knw the limitations on the speeding up part.

noted madman.. thanks for the advise.. =)

err boss, do enlighten me about the 2nd part.. i a bit catch no ball.. :cheeky:

HUAT AH!!!

chris no worries man.. =)

:faint: the mystery still remains unsolved...

nonetheless the trunk road was fun.. =P

Woa.... after one night sleep and I get back here and smell some gun powder.... relax every body....

Holland in the ride trip is nothing unusual, most important is still stay together....

Advise, feedback, comment... need to be noted and review and so that the future activity can be improve.... it's all came from individual opinion, as a group or leader and or organiser, I think it's good to listen to what they have to say. ( people like me, sometime I see things not in my faver, I will just go away... maybe I just don't care or I just don't bother if they are goin to improve or not) so leader and or organiser should also appreciate the advise, feedback and comment from the people because, this are the people that care... they care about the activity, they care about the group, so precious them and don't push them away from you......

I enjoy being in the riding group, and I enjoy every moment that we are together, but we always have so little time to share with each and every body on each trip...

I also have some comment but have been hesitate to bring it up because I worry that it might ignite the misunderstand..... so the comment still with me.....

With all of the above that I mention it's all hope that the leader and organiser do not give up, be patient and note that you have many supporter beside you quietly. Cheers!!!

Gentlemen,

Before I decide to do anything, I'll be hovering over this thread.

Hopefully, someone can give me a full picture.

Till then, please refrain from adding on anymore fuel into this debate.

Cheers!

Guys, thanks for the comments. I once again apologise for the "failed" objective last night. Whatever I have said in my post above, I will standby it. I have edited the XXX as per Kev request.

You guys enjoy your time here. Should you need any help and if time permits, I will be glad to help out the bros here. But I wont be organising or leading any trips from now on. There are many individuals who question my choice of route which I do not know how to answer. If going from Point A to Point B is their preference then there is nothing I can do. So let these people lead.

Hamster- Very sorry but my body although is big, my heart is the size of chicken. I know everyone is hungry, me too. And I am also very very tired. I woke up at 6am yesterday morning. So for me is hungry + tired + disappointed + shock(When I read the above post) = I GIVE UP.

Ausa- if you have any comments, please feel free to voice since everyone want feedback to improve. This will help the guys here.

My safety vest is still for sale or trade. Please contact me via email or SMS. My nos is in this forum somewhere.

Cheers and ride safe guys!

I AM BACK!!!!!

ok baby speaking here base on my experience last night.

arthur, u did a good job. don't worry, from my understanding this suppose to be a small close grp outing. although there's a improvement to be made, but that is suppose to be a "formal" outing. i'ld consider this dinner is informal. somewhat like sms and go makan liao kinda thingy ^^ cheers.

replay, i believe u have experience with the convoy riding in formal. i've learn mine from the days where i started out w pk, joining cruisers/harley/scooters. so i know how u feel.

and as madman mentioned, ur riding style as sweeper is abit scary, but nonetheless u're still consider quite safe as compared to what i did last time. haha ask kev/madman/arjen/chinu they should know :cheeky:

hamster, tonight we share more. i'll share some experience i have haha...

for the food. it's consider super value for money ^^

yes, still interested w cheese crab. but i think my scooter cannot tahan the off road lei... >

Wah! So happening! Got "Holland" some more!

Too bad I couldn't be there, I left the school only after 07:40 pm. :(

Got "Holland" is not a bad thing, because each time "Holland" we learn something new. :D

Like when I lead a small group to A&W a couple of years back, got 2 little critters went "Hollanding".

Arthur, in the trips you organised so far, I feel that you have always done a good job.

Of course there will occasionally be small hiccups here and there, but overall it's GOOD!

If really not organising any more trips, then next time will be very boring leh... :pity:

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

Hyundai TRAJET but it wasnt me driving.

Wonder who is in.

hehe. or any other suggestion? Table there is round so have to split groups.

Simpang bedok is nice, car park is accommodating and all can sit together but i feel the response might not be too good because its like convoy in a neighborhood.

Ok ppl, as for the cheese crab thingy, after reading thru & hearing over, IMO, lets close the issue and move on.

I wont be editing nor deleting the above mentioned posts. However, anymore thereafter regarding the crab trip issue, I wont hesitate to remove w/o prior notice.

We make mistakes, but we learn from it, move on from it.

It is always never easy to please any, everyone.

Because, each and everyone of us are different, which, makes us unique.

But we can strive together, to learn and improve together.

Alright, stopping my naggings.

Cheers!
