Why don't you spend a little more and get better 2T? I would recommend Castrol R2 for starters..But confirm your bike the motortiam use those cheap 2T one..

 

Saturday I not sure want to go so many places..(Start rant) My goddamn gear lever broke..Must reweld I think..Was trying to change to neutral and park then suddenly like no feeling..Looked down and to my dismay saw that it broke..Maybe the welding not good..Very unlucky day..I hate rainy days..To make it worst I can't go to work tomoro coz bike shop all close already..Another sad thing is now must wai till tomoro then push bike all the way to bike shop..Reminds me of recruit days running around in the stupid uniform with a full pack.. Maybe just need to endure this short (hopefully) unlucky period..Lucky it broke when I reach my house carpark if not drag 1st gear all the way to bike shop?

hmm... i dun think my motordiam got sell castrol r2 leh... where to get that and how much is it selling?

my impression of castrol R2, very thin.. use up very fast...

oh ya and something to add to R2, difficult to find, only a few motor shop carries it. so far i know of 3, go to HKL @ jalan bukit merah, one shop at UBI dunno wat name cant remember go hunt for a CASTROL signboard. else u can go to admiralty woodland one or wat dunno wat is that place called. there got 1 motorshop there sells R2 as well (description nt very good, anyone else would like to add on please go ahead.)

hmm... have you tried Esso pace? what's your opinion abt this 2T?

Is there a Motul 500? Any difference between 500 and 510?

So wat 2T u using now?

Your friendly LAB got sell Castrol R2..Don't tell me you dunno where it is? Ok la the 2T is not very good and its not bad either..But definitely better than Esso Pace..

 

Another advice for you..Quit going to your motordiam to purchase stuff..It just gives them more opportunity to chop you some more..Try going to different motordiams and once you find a good one stick with it..Up to you to heed or not..Afterall its your life..

Haven't post much seeing I have been busy : /

 

I wonder where can I get my seats cut and rewrap to have the wording "kawasaki" at the side, usually found on many KRRs?

 

About 2T, as of now, I am using Motul 710. I barely encounter smoke at all and the consumption isn't so bad. I like it over Castro R2. It's also a tad bit easier to find too. Last time I check, Racewerks selling it at $17, altho normal retail price is $22. I think it's one of the better juices we can pump in the 2T chamber.

i dont have habit to use "petrol brand 2T" if u get wat i mean...

 

use those brands that are 2T brand lubricants

 

U wan cheap use penzoil ( abt $8+++ -$9.....value for money....

 

if u gt money use motul 710 or maxima , motorex ..all close to $20 range...

Cut seat can do at Jalan Besar..Was thinkin of cutting mine too..Maybe can go together..Hopefully I won't be busy..Btw where besides Racewerkz can I find Motul 2T? Would be better if can als find their 4T/EO as well..Maybe for next EO change or somethin..

Motul 710 can be found at Mah Motorparts (Opposite Sim Lim Tower).

 

If you guys are interested to do your seats at Eugene Saddlery (Jalan Besar, opposite Jalan Besar Food Centre) on Saturday, count me in. There are many compliments to the workmanship of this place.

Thanks for the information..Prolly will get the Motul 2T the next time I go down there..Niwae nice to see you post again..Prolly can make a mini meet-up this Saturday for those who wanna cut/design their seats? Was thinkin of Eugene Saddlery too..We just need a time..Location will be Eugene Saddlery..Heard lots of positive feedback from other riders about this shop..So anyone else in?

 

P.S. Novacat..Your bike doesn't by any chance be a yellow coloured KR with black flames does it?
