Sometimes when I go days without "running" the bike, I would ride along a long road on gear 2 and just ride on 8rpm.  The valve opens at 7rpm. At 8rpm confirm fully opened.  When u want to clear carbon, dun drag on gear1 because it's frickin' noisy and if u dun want to speed, den dun drag on higher gears too.  I usually drag on gear 2 or 3.  Perfect for carbon clearing sessions.

Had been riding my Krr for abt 6 mths. Just want to share my experience abt the KIPS. Tried 7.5 rpm at gear 4. Can feel vibration less than 5.5 rpm. Engine very smooth. Bt it takes time to reach 7.5rpm, esp on a slope. After valve open, rpm shooting up faster. Bt nvr got a chance to ride at 8rpm. Engine sound too loud and too fast!

then u tell me wat kips stands 4?fyi kr using reed valves.most 2 strokes n off roads bikes uses the reed valve sys.fyi bro ypvs is 4 yamaha pwr valve sys..nxt time dont ask ppl do homewrk...

its e same...try placing a white paper near ur pipe as u open n maintain ur trottle e paper will have black shoot kinda substance..which is e carbon..as 4 e slope u try using lower gears..as 4 e rpm slow..try set ur carb change e jet pin..but e FC will be affected..

YPVS, RC Valve, KIPS work on the same priniciples of variating the exhaust port height to match the riding condition.
