Wow 140km/h..I haven't even reach 120 yet..Must impart your skills to me..

The valve open the bike never surge forward la..Other vehicles around you become slower only..Like in the Matrix..You feel like it surge forward but actually it doesn't..:cheeky:

LOL funny horrrrr.

I thought 140km/h is an okay speed? Something like the speedometer isn't really that accurate so the correct speed is actually lower? Though I was a bit apprehensive because my dad would never let me drive faster than 110km/h... :giddy:

dun tink u discribe it as a surging feeling when the valves open.. the bikes jus accelerates faster?

voo...really? well, it didn't feel like it was accelerating faster... *shrug* maybe it was but because I didn't know how it feels like, I thought it didn't happen. haha

The valve opens at 7rpm. At 8rpm confirm fully opened. When u want to clear carbon, dun drag on gear1 because it's frickin' noisy and if u dun want to speed, den dun drag on higher gears too. I usually drag on gear 2 or 3. Perfect for carbon clearing sessions.

okay, so does that mean even if I didn't feel anything (i.e. acceleration) the valve would open 7-8rpm? heh I don't like to drag gear1 either, though I have a tendency of opening trottle too much. lol. I do drag on gear3 sometimes, but that's because I'm too lazy to change gear...

Alrighty, thanks guys for your replies :thumb:

hi

I just recently bought a krr150. i find the pick up is quite slow, i usually have to kick up the gear quickly to get a bit of pick up. even wave can beat my krr150.

before buying kawasaki, i heard krr150 is the fastest 150cc bike, but apparently not leh .... :giddy:

chill la bro... you had just purchased the bike and you already want to outride everyone?

For my bike, I think pickup at gear1 is a little slow, but that's prolly how I ride... On the road, I can move off faster than uncle on vespa but in the end, uncle overtake me... I'm pretty sure years of experience enables him to ride his bike well.

I've only been riding for a week, but I know I am riding better than I first started out. Love your bike and your bike will love you...:lovestruck:

Quoting what a friend told me when I first got the bike...

"KR what, KR is for lacing (racing)... if you don't play corner and selit (straddle between lanes/vehicles), then what's the point of getting a KR?"

Maybe that's coz speed is relative? You won't know it until you stop or hit something? *touchwood*

Well your friend is just stereotyping..A close friend of me tells me somethin else tho..The racer is not the bike its the rider..Don't trust me? Just look around when you are on the roads..You will see that majority of the sportsbike riders keep within the speed limit but not the others..Like said before its the rider not the bike..As for me I've always likes the look of KR so prolly any reason why I got the bike..Different folks..Different strokes..

heh yeah course... the dude doesn't ride sportbikes, but he used to race M... It can be quite a nightmare being his pillion nowadays because now that I ride, he has no qualms of seliting at the tightest of spots.

Ditto... I like fairing bikes because of the outlook. Granted, I'll chose form over function. The bike is actually more for transport than anything else... I could have gotten a wave (better fc etc) but the girl in me says, "cannot leh, so ugly... get a kr, so handsome burger
