i have question to ask, does the 2T oil you use affect the amount of white smoke coming out from pipe? i now use castrol 2t oil, i assume that the 2T oil cause alot white smoke.

 

EO and 2T both plays a part...

Hey Bro & Sis,this is what happened...

 

One month ago,i noticed 'sound' coming out from my engine. After checking with most shops,it is confirmed to be the cam-shaft that needs to be replaced which requires overhaul;most shops quoted me $2-3k for a full overhaul.However,as a student,i cant afford such high repair cost.

 

so fortunately,or should i say unfortunately,found THIS shop which is willing to just repair for me whatever needs to be replaced at my budget.And i was amazed that they did the overhaul within 2days and called me up to collect the bike.

 

After i have collected the bike,i realized there are white smoke coming out from my exhaust.when clarified with the boss, 'after overhaul EO is everywhere in the engine,it will goes off in few days', he explained.However,after about two weeks,i realized there are still white smoke coming out from my exhaust,when i called to question,the boss said it is okay.

 

So while hoping that the white smoke will go away,i noticed no different but instead,more white smoke at times even when riding.so basically when i ride on the road its like any 2stroke bike with loads of smoke but the sound of a s4.

 

Went to THIS shop today to make some noise just now,regarding the white smoke.All he can tell me is 'ohh,think your piston ring koyak already'..The fact is that we agreed that he will change the whole set of the damaged cam shaft which include the piston,piston ring,2pins,etc.i even have a witness with me who was at the scene as well.However,he claimed that we only agreed to change the camshaft(rod).my first reaction was wtf cost me $XXXX just to change the rod?

 

Also,when my bike was sent in for overhaul,there isnt even any white smoke but only the sound of the damaged cam shaft.right after overhaul,i have another problem - white smoke.This kind of shop can trust?who knows they deliberately spoil my piston rings so i can go back to them and get cheated more?so after all,i wasnt very surprise they can actually overhaul a s4 with just 1.5days to be exact,given such quality.

 

So from my conclusion,DONT EVEN GO TO THIS SHOP,not even going there to replace a missing redundant screw,cos you never know how they can cheat you!

riders! got 2 questions to ask..

 

if kena caught by tp while doing free-hand from the handlebar.. izit license revoke?

does tire air pressure affect top speed??

ride freehand shld be okay bah...also not do wheelie or stuff....but i not sure..lol..got tp stop u?

 

tire pressure sure will affect. if u never pump enough there will be more drag due to more friction due to more surface contact of the tire with the road. more drag means ur bike needs more power to reach a certain speed.. if u pump alot of air u will be able to go alot faster but its dangerous at corners and when it comes to speed control as u will be going faster then u normally do and furthermore higher chance of skidding if u jam rear brake coz lesser contact with road..

mine's Fy plate not sure got powercut or not,but think on my neutral gear rev can reach 13k cuz last time try b4.if got powercut maybe think of install racing cdi,my mech at jb say if port the carb only block stock rpm can reach around 12k with power setting.heard on this forum a stock powercut cdi can also reach 13k but must mod,anyone done that? can share the formula keke..thanks for replying!!

ur CDI got powercut?if have i dun tink can reach rpm 13 bah.... power setting onli change the fuel and air jetting inside the carb bah i i tink.

bro,u want to rev so high2 for wat, u try ask valentino rossi he race got use until max rpm or not,u want to rev high2 pocket standby money for overhaul,btw fyi all kr bikes FU and after all malaysian made CDI,with powercut,not much but have,unless u change ur cdi to those japan made ones,which belongs to FS and FT,nowadays even if u r riding FS or FT doesn't mean ur CDI is Japan made,people or shop sometimes change them before u buy the bike,modification formula some guys here have but do u have a lot of money to standby for modifications?with money anything is possible bro,once ur bike is ready, u dun need to test with small bikes already,u can play with bigger bikes,now no more big games,no more jackpot,if have only small ones,im not saying im dat good bro but even though u have a strong bike,still it needs a good rider to control it,we control the bike,not the bike control us,at 180kmh-220kmh anything can happen,most bike can go to dat speed but how fast u reach that speed counts and how fast from dat speed till 0kmh counts more
