guys. is krr a good transport bike? i know that it is definitely a fun bike to occasionally 'play'. but i have to travel from west to end east for work =/. so if ride conservatively (nvr play pick up and ~100-110kmh on exp way) on a stock krr, can get at least 30km/l?

Not guarantee as fuel consumption depends on other factors too.

Better if u get a spark, x1-r or wave. 4stroke will save u alot more compared to kr

yo bro... 30km/L is alot.. you need to ask bike shops who knows what they are doing to help you to change jets to give you that kinda of FC.. plus, stomach must be stock.. than you will be getting around that FC.. :)

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

Bro,if your friend prefers speed and power,go for KRR. This bike from KAWASAKI is light, agile & can reach speed of 190kmph on stock. Once u mod it,it can hit more than 200kmph. I know many riders here can go beyond that speed. Maintainance wise,KRR is easily to maintain and repair. Spare Parts are all over Singapore and JB. The down side is the kick start which I personally think is a hassle. When I was a KRR rider,I am a notorious rider. I got many tickets for many illlegal activities and I race with so many bikes of other brands but I never race with fellow KRR. The result,my KRR beats them all, even Aprilia RS125, Yamaha R125 and R15 easily.Fuel wise, once u go fast, mileage is poor.

About R15 Yamaha, this baby is sexy looking and pumps just the right amont of power:fuel ratio. No need to worry abt caburator cleaning,no need to hassle abt kick start and surely a head turner bike. Fuel consumption is great..full tank on normal riding will take u at least 350km and if u mod the bike and ride fast like me,with K&N cone filter-ECU tuning and aftermarket exhaust;mileage is abt 300km. Still good! Engine is super hot and if u dont take care of the coolant,it will dry up and soon u see the engine hazard lights up!

About speed, this R15 have a valve that turns open at 7.8 rpm. This baby can roar to more than150kmph with racing kit and with stock bike,it can shoot at least 140kmph. This bike is fully electronic tuned.Power!! Dont be mistaken, this 140kmph is super charge!! Damn fast!! Personally,I smoke all class 2b 4 stroke bikes on the road except 2 stroke bikes especially KRR.

Summarizing up: Both bike rulez in their 2 and 4 stroke class. Nobody else comes close. Speed= KRR. Good looks = R15 :)

yep yep gd info u got there. anyways, for me, speed=kr, looks=kr too!! :)

based on my iphone apps which record since 27 april.

lowest FC is 21.85, highest is 26.65, average at the meantime is 24km/L.

But I always go one petrol station and one fuel pump.. because that's the one with "some error" LOL...

The frame already very near the speedometer and i cant see blind spot using the left mirror. So there is a chance to do alighment and remoulding back ? But if they can do back n respray, it cost me abt $300+.

that means.. even if you buy new fairing.. it doesn't come with the color you wan and you will have to fork out more cash to fix your frame..

*just my 2 cents.. :)

Okay I have the same mindset about u. Let me share my story. I need to travel Tamp to clementi everyday and work delivery on sat & Sun. I cover 600-800km per week. My KR fc was 20km/l on SG fuel and 23km/h on Petronas 97 last time. So I decided to top overhaul my bike(change block & piston) and set everything to standard. My fc shoot up to 28km/h on SG fuel and 35km/l on Petronas 97. Happy?

2 months later I bought a wave(KR still keep I can't part with my baby love). Reason? Typical wave cover 45-50km/l. My wave is at 40km/l which is already VERY bad. I'm tired of every week going JB to pump Petronas 97 to get my 35km/l mileage. And yes 35km/l sounds very near to my dying wave's 40km/l right? But u haven't count it 2T yet. So, KR still lose in terms of transportation. But for looks, speed, ability to get girls, etc. Kr still wins. Hahahaha.

Since you're going from west to east(which is easily 40km+), I rather u get a 4 stroke or get 2 bikes if ur insurance is cheap and u can get good deals. :p

Better if u get a spark, x1-r or wave. 4stroke will save u alot more compared to kr

I think its a sis not a bro.

Btw the $50 u spent is for what actually? New frame or repair back the frame?

My suggestion buy new frame patchback old fairing with your prefered paintwork. :)) hehh

New frame roughly cost how much ah? and its not attached to the chasis right?

Past: RXZ, KR, R1 07

Present : Wave S

25km/l is possible if u got proper settings n u ride strictly max 100km/h, but i doubt so that u'll do that bcoz once a while cnferm will wanna ride faster, we all do. Average fc is arnd 20km/l - 25km/l. If u want more can ride 80km/h all the way.

Want even better than can be like me n eno. Use wave, fc for wave can hit arnd 40-50km/l :)
