nth much,its just tt i just notice my stand is shorter dan all e bikes by afew cm.

dunno how to sae. normal stand has a flat part,n sumthing for riders to 'push' it down. mine dun haf e flat base

eh.why my i cant drag more than 7rpm uh? if drag more than 7 the engine sounds weird..is it the valve??

yo bro.. when the valve open, the engine will sound "weird" if you are not used to it.. Btw, how long you open valve once? Because if u didn't open for more than 2 weeks and you ride daily.. Your valve have jammed and need to go service..

yo bro.. when the valve open, the engine will sound "weird" if you are not used to it.. Btw, how long you open valve once? Because if u didn't open for more than 2 weeks and you ride daily.. Your valve have jammed and need to go service..

ard 1 wk+ nvr whack...when after rpm7 the sound is not smooth and cant pick up further...where is the valve located at? is it at the block ther?

yo bro.. run in got 2 kinds..

soft and gentle run in -> maintain RPM below 5 for all gears, once a week wack one time to rpm 10.

change EO every 1000km if possible.

Hard run in -> just ride normally like how you used to run.. Wack everytime you got chance..

Change EO every 1000km. (MUST)

ard 1 wk+ nvr whack...when after rpm7 the sound is not smooth and cant pick up further...where is the valve located at? is it at the block ther?

yo bro.. 1 week plus.. okok.. just continue to wack till RPM 9 around 10seconds.. gear 4 to be safer..

gear 3 *scare you got stun..

gear 5 * scare you can't control the speed at RPM 9..

*remember.. you must control the machine.. dun let the thrill control you..

Ride using all gears,best in normal traffic roads rather than expressway. Change engine oil on first 300km followed by 500km engine oil change. Speed maintain below 100kmph. Occasionally,whack your bike a bit,rev the throttle,have no fear!!

agreed.. alot of people find it expensive.. *other den uncles like me.. because age is there.. NCD is there..

i ride a kr with box no fairing.. OR kup with box. stop at ah boy shop, you sitting opposite there..
1st thing come to your mind, siao ah. so hot wear until like this.. OR so safely ar??!

so i preferred to ride uncle method not to attract any unwanted comment or attraction..

2) the ONLY things good about Cat. Z ( above 35 ) is a) no more ippt & reservist & b) the cheaper insurance.

However, that is probably because the insurers know that we are more "kia-si" ...a bit malu leh.

edit: i am "scared" liao but uncle alvin who is even older than me might disagree. maybe he "bu ren lao" & "garang" like young man. lol!

3) i agree with "blending into the environment". my helmet is $35 but got PSB. All the full gear very expensive & might just attract unwanted "challenges' from punks. Already i find KR attract more unwanted "attention" ( recall my S4 "incident" ) compared to my previous legendary "ah-pek" bike , the LAO-K.

How wierd is the sound? The sound change to a loud pitch(irritating a bit) noise is it?

Firstly, what did u overhaul? Only the top(Block n piston) or the bottom(the gearbox consisting of conrod, clutch plate, etc). Or both? =)

btw, how is your back? getting better? Do more stomach & back exercises ( eg. "superman" ), leg raises, squats ( if knee very pain, do half-squat or use support if you are too weak ). If even these are too tough, go on your fours & do less.

IMPORTANT: Do these exercises SLOWLY, & NOT fast fast. if you do them too fast, you might injure further. Do SLOWLY like tai-chi, you will also feel very tired & sweat, believe me, more siong than fast.

Concentrate your exercises on the opposite side of your pain. will explain more during this weekend...

remember, DON"T FORCE. if cannot, DON't hero. DON't make it worse.
