i got 27km/l for vpower and 30km/l for petronas 97. funny le coz my prev top service my mech say my block not in good shape but to me 27-30km/l is good. dont know whether isi it because i ride too conservatively. usually change gear ard 5.5 rpm for normal riding and the once in while whack. usually you guys up gear at what rpm for normal riding?

 

your riding style same as mine ( 6k rpm change gear ) but i seldom "whack" my bike...i am only using it as a transport bike.

 

my FC also around yours 28km/l but my 2T use higher, actually i don't mind a "slight" loss of 2 km/l but just can't figure out why so many people here ( desmond, Eno, lamshah, others, MYSELF ) can get 35km/l during the 1st few months & "suddenly" with no "warning", FC sinks to now. Still a mystery i am trying to find out what went wrong. o_O

 

Actually it is just out of interest, i just want to know why. If can solve & improve FC to say 31~33km/l, it is just a bonus ! :thumb:

that's the slow but save petrol pattern.. I change gear at 6.5~7.. depending on situation.. :p

MAX I went.. 13RPM 1st gear.. *forget to change gear while wacking.. whahhaa!!

lolx.. because that's what I did when I go see this bike from SBF forum.. a SP.. den owner say.. bike not warm up.. kick first gear die.. den I go "orhhhhhhhh" almost brought it.. but he die die dun wan discount.. den my friend say "DUN BUY! I bring you another shop and see".. Den I very KC one.. (kan chiong) I say dun wan lah.. waste your time and fuel riding me here and there.. he say nvm.. den we went to his shop and brought a KR out from the shelf.. whahaha..

 

guess what? after 1~2 week, the SP owner sms me willing to lower to my price, (ard 150 lesser). I said I brought liaoz.. whahaha...

 

So.. only your friend who's going with you can change your mind.. otherwise you will go orhh orhh orhh.. lolx.. :p

whahaha... I thinking because after full service, decarbon, do up alot of internal stuff to make the bike perform better.. that's why the drop of FC.. :)

look ard diff shops. becareful of those out the the era mods.. those 2 yrs ago batches riders will know what i mean.. the kr i bought back then came w krK or something like that model fork and brake calipers.. 1st generation kr.. parts cannot even be found in sg or msia.. tried to go back to the shop to ask about it, the sales guy just told me "idk, sell u liao now den u ask me how i know"

I heard e engine mainly...

Like listen for knocking sounds...and all that.but actually dont know how...

is it ever possible to go alone? i think cant right...

Racing footrest can pass inspection. But sharp tail cannot.. If using sharp tail must give shop send for inspection.

Bro why not u send to bikeshop recommended by those pple here for inspection? That way, racing footrest, standard footrest or even no footrest also can pass.

Bro why not u send to bikeshop recommended by those pple here for inspection? That way, racing footrest, standard footrest or even no footrest also can pass.

 

If ur bike stock bike go inspection Urself. It's cheaper. If using sharp tail and stuff no choice go give bike shop do inspection other wise cannot pass. I heard bike shop near Bukit batok which is near to vivcom inspection center chrage affordable price.

1st question: Y need to overhaul?

2nd: SG overhaul better IF really required.. (no need to travel back and kpkb if anything goes wrong)

3rd: unable to start your bike doesn't require overhaul.. :)

 

maybe can give us more details before we could assist? :)

hey fellows.am modifying my bike. im thinking of installing a keihin pwk 28mm carb to my krr. any ideas on what jetting to start of with. my bikes is totally stock. and i intend to start the mods with the carbs then later move on to the others.
