Hi i know whats pickup...but anyone care to elaborate or tell me more about top end? Whats e diff?:o

Top end is how fast you can go at top gear. If your pickup fast, then u won't have very good top end(meaning at top gear, u'll be slower). If you want a good top end(more speed at highest gear), it is possible but your pickup will be slower.

So choose:

1. Fast pick up, slow top end

2. Slow pick up, better top end

Past: RXZ, KR, R1 07

Present : Wave S

simple bro take a mountain bike for example

low gear like 1 and 7 u paddle right u will move off fast, thats pickup but there is only a certain top speed which u can reach

high gear like 3 and 7 u paddle u will move off slowly and need to press hard but then u will reach a very high speed.

krr engineers balance out between pickup and top end and come out with 14 39 originally with a top speed of 195 stock. if u 16 and 38 ur pickup slow but the top speed u will reach will be 200 plus but if u 14 and 41 ur pick up fast but ur max top end is less then 195.

a good website to play with sprocket sizes and all the other crap would be http://www.gearingcommander.com , change the sprockets and u will realise some combinations will help u reach 200 plus while some will help ur pickup.

Hi all krr riders, like to ask a question about the choke. I don't know whether the choke is opened when the choke lever is down or up. I tried pushing up and down using the choke lever but both idling the same. Can anyone advise? Thankyou in advance.

Push it down: chock is on.

Pull it up: chock is off.

I am not a racer. I am a rider.

Normally, choke is opened when lever is pushed down. You try revving the throttle and let go after u push either down or up lor. When choke is open, the rpm will drop slowly when u let go of the throttle.

Bro... Any1 can help me wit the gear ratio? Mine is 15/38. But my frd said 14/38 or 14/39. So I reali dunno

all of the gear ratio u mentioned can be used.

1. ur ratio would be good top end but low pickup speed

2. 14/39 is good pickup but low top end

3. 14/38 is inbetween the 1st and 2nd

Thankyou =), I think my choke got problem. When I push down or push up the idling still the same. My previous bike when choke is opened, the rpm will be around 2k-3k.

Push it down: chock is on.

Pull it up: chock is off.

Thankyou, =).

Lever down should be open choke and if the idling remains the same, then makes no different!! :) Have the choke system replaced.

Going to the workshop next week, thanks for your response =).
