Hi guys..just stationary dropped my KR.Called for tow as my clutch flew out =.= stationary drop caused by friend nt me.He paid me 100bucks. GG to get my clutch done later on.. mirror on left broke too.Side light spoilt.For side light i dont expect it to b perfect cos i treat it as a "fairing guard" cos mine is the potruding-like kind of side light.So if ever drop which in this case...saves my whole fairing from being scratched. But the side light surrounding little bit scratch on the fairing like small un-noticable kind. Kinda sad :( see my KR being towed away..but thankfully only stationary drop.

as for 2t doesnt mean 2t cheap then useless. first u need to understand y engine seize happen

is cause piston not lubricated enough AND piston not cooled enough hence expand then rub against the block then expand too much no side clearence then jam.

 

petrol has 3 jobs that is to burn, lubricate and cool the piston. 2t is just to help to lubricate. cause petrol alone not enough. when whack like mad the 2t dont have time to coat the whole piston as the petrol and cant do it work properly.the pistons starts heating up then expand become bigger then more friction, no 2t and petrol , rub rub rub rub rub then jam.

 

 

i justify by my explanation because if i can use spc mineral oil 2t and spc 92 and spc engine oil for my 23 year oil tzr and still whack and chase my friend super 4 and go from bbdc till bedok at 130 and all the things and not even a single piston jam in the 8 months i rode it i dun think i need explain more.

 

 

once again no offence to anyone, just my 20cents.

i didnt say cheap 2t gd fc bro, dun noe who said.

 

and what u say is tru. but mineral 2t DOESNT flow as fast as semi or full so the lubricating properties are diff. but the viscosity of the oils are only part of the story, there are other components that play a part as well.

Just asked weda yesterday aftrnn, they quote 500++ with tank. All new original coverset. Im planning to change stock green with all chrome stock parts :)

Ok thanks bro. Wah...motul 800 leh...like almost 40 per bottle right lol....*faints* Bro....may I know what is a high rev setting? What's the fc like? Oh and btw...how much does it cost to chrome your engine casing and swing arm? Why never chrome your forks also :p

Hi guys..i've a small prob with mmy pipe..went johor with my pizzahut friends all..ard 10 of em today..den dey start to notice my pipe alot of smoke come out when moving off or when just start..i myself also realize that...when stop at traffic light the smoke a lot...dunno y? My other friend the KR when stop...foo power..like little bit smoke emit only...any suggestions what could b e prob for my KR?And what i could do?:)Thx in advance.

 

Friend mentioned maybe put too much 2T ...But well i'm nt sure if thats e case....i using shell vsx prev...den went low..juz change to motul today.

 

Should be settings. Go back to your shop and tell them to adjust 2t settings might help. Maybe you can try clearing carbon also lol.

i have tried out all 3 different types of 2t & was just sharing what i observed & NOT complaining about Fc & $. ie. Castrol Go & Esso & Shell & SPC ( mineral types ), SPC Alpha & Esso & Shell & Castrol Power1 ( semi-syn types ) & Putoline ( fully syn that i tried only once ). Similar results on my recently purchased KR ( only this year ) & my previous bike ( previous 11 years ) that is NOT a kr.

 

strange to hear that swipe from someone who claims to use SPC mineral 2t & 92. Strange indeed. :(

2) last time my old bikes also use cheap 2t no problem but as i am still new to kr, i no dare say so confident sure no problem. i believed i shared before how 1 time in 2005, i forgot to top up 2t as i was too busy working as dispatch. my previous bike suddenly got strange sound & stopped ! i parked at the side of AYE & found out my 2t pump empty! i called my colleague ( drive van, no ride bike, don't even know what is 2t ) buy any 2t from petrol station & send it to me. I poured the 2t into my pump & kick start & continued to do my deliveries, NO PROBLEM ! even myself & my van driver colleague was amazed.

 

3) "old" bikes like your RD & my Lao K really rules ! :)

U guys seen fluorescent colours before? Is it nice?:) Cos i recently saw one fairing green one...with fluorescent spray...v freaking nice. But drop one time confirm heart pain like hell..i was at kallang ave...the shop called glen smtg..

The boss quote me ard 400+ for full set spray.From different angle it kind of "change " colours when u look at it under sunlight or norm light.But i'm nt getting.

High rev means ur fuel to air ratio is the best ONLY at high rpm meaning (race only) fc is definitely bad. The pic was taken 3yrs back... Now its all chrome alrdy :). Price now i think arnd rm100+ each for swingarm, engine casing, fork.. The rest all quite cheap.

Too much 2t goin in. And MY PERSONAL opinion is those cheap 2t like the ones in petrol stations does cause alot of smoke.

buy a $5 mineral 2t & any fully syn 2t. pour them into different containers & straight away you will notice how much "thinner" & faster the fully syn one will FLOW than the mineral 2t.

 

poke 1 SAME-SIZED hole each into the 2 containers to let the 2t leak drop by drop & see. the fully syn will leak faster than the mineral one. ( put 2 containers below to collect back the 2 different 2t. don't waste can still use for your bike :) )

 

that is why fully syn 2t is "supposed" in theory give better protection to your engine. it can FLOW FASTER to "protect" that is why they are termed "faster burning". Mineral 2t can also do the same job but only do it SLOWER. Both can do the job but 1 do it FASTER than the other thus it is more expensive. The slower one though cheaper, will FLOW MORE SLOWLY to your engine. No problem when your engine is already properly "warmed up" but a problem when you rev too much TOO SOON / EARLY . :(
