Sweet! my other bike u gata mix oil with the petrol but its a 2stroke offroad so i was just making sure, dont feel like blowing my motor its just bin redone 700km's ago..

 

btw gutripper ur bike is so hot! better than the best looking woman :thumb:

OK so my bikes oil light came on when i was riding

the window on the side of the engine ("oil level gauge") is full its above both lines...

wat oil must i put in the bottle under the seat? 2 stroke synthetic engine oil or 2 stroke mixing oil?

The window on the engine side is the level of ur gear oil or transmission oil. As for 2t oil the gauge is the red light. If it turns on when riding then the level is very low in the bottom under the sear

guys i got krr stuff to let go

 

1) front and rear rims with tyre and disc one set and sprocket hub(rim original gold colour and batalax tyre still good)- $370

2)airbox- $20

3)rear caliper(stock silver colour)-$50

4) malaysia made cdi x2- $50each

5) racing handle (red colour)-$30

6) domino L & R lever ( red colour, got abit scarcth on it)- $$$ free if buy any one of it

7) front brake pump-$40

8) endcan ( got scarcth on it and its not mod at all, darm stock still got the stoper)-$60

9) original pipe( no mod at all, darm stock) -$100

10) left hand swicth - $25

11) meter( green light)-$80

Lol thanks man ;) There is nothing wrong with premixing 2T with fuel for a krr. Throttle response will be better too. You just have to get the proportions just right. Too much and you risk fouling spark plugs, too little and your piston might seize/jam. For me, I find it too troublesome....so I simply top up my 2T reservoir lol.

Guyz, Ive been studying and asking alot abt what happens if piston jam and I still dont quite get it.

 

So dear KRRans,

 

-What happens if my piston jam. Engine totally dead ?

-What if it jams WHEN im riding. Will the engine suddenly off and the tyres ebrake allow me to do a somersault with my bike?

-How do I prevent Piston Jam. Proper gear shifting? any good 2Ts/Oils/Lubricants which will help?

-Piston jam = GG?

- Piston Jam - engine total off.. No power to restart at all..

-yup.. U will suddenly burn tyres for a distance while fish tailing.. UNTIL the piston becomes free again.. else, your bike will struck at the middle of no where..

Prevent Piston Jam = Ensure 2T is enough.. Ensure you have "slightly" more petrol intake.. Check temp.. if temp is going up despite you are riding at 100km/h, slow down.. :)

Piston jam = Change block/piston.. :)

Woah thanks alot for the tips. Last but not least, am not too clear of the part you saying 'Ensure you have "slightly" more petrol intake'......do you mean to throttle more?

and when you high rev going down, maintain a certain amount of fuel in.. dun just close throttle one shot..

it all depends on wat you need. are you the kind of person that always ride at high rpms? if not. save your 2t.

cos more 2t = more carbon. carbon left in your header will act as an restriction of the airflow. then your fc will be affected.

and not forgetting the fact that you may have valve jam.

 

if ride at high rpm. no problem with slightly more 2t. cos high rpm. airflow must greater thus not causing carbon to be stuck in header.

just my 2 cents.

safety ma. i also wearing full face. unless its like 5min journey to the next town then lazy.

btw. i'm using a hjc cl-st. pretty decent. but dont expect too much. ventilation is so so. some say no ventilation. its quite a noisy helmet. and the visor dont really seal well. i recommend you to top up for something better. anyway. need to choose the ff correctly. imo hjc is more of a oval type head helmet. so i have abit of space on the front and back. try and look for the helmet to fit your head best. goodluck :)

evening guys. Just got my kr today. anyway, i've got a Qns. Does the coolant water flow exit from the Block Head---> Radiator---> Engine---> Block (Upwards) or the other way round : Block---> Engine---> Radiator---> Block Head (Downwards)
