Before I did my full Svc plus chg piston ring piston bearing plus clean carbon .my spdmeter n rpm shoot same same. Issit I chg my sprocket to 39/15 den my rpm shoot faster?

if u change to a larger rear sprocket, ur rpm will shoot faster, u will have faster pickup, lower top end.

gear 1 max RPM 13 - 60km/h - heart pain like crazy..

gear 2 max RPM 13 - 80km/h - heart dropping out half way

gear 3 max RPM 13 - 100km/h - heart drop liaoz.

even if gear 3 - 80km/h - RPM estimated 9~10.5 depending on your gear ratio..

Not pain meh? red zone lei bro..

ANYWAY, RPM always shoot faster den speedo.. if you wan speedo faster, I help u swap the cable.. :p

sorry to ask, what makes you think speedo can shoot faster den RPM? :)

oh ya.. this is not a problem.. :)

it's normal.. :)

hahaha nice.

btw guyz, am I just riding too slow or KRRs are not meant for a good pick up? I can remember not being able to catch scramblers, gileras and some waves/sparks.

Yeah....u are probably riding too slow lol. A full stock krr can beat all those any day. Drag your lower gears. Anyway....scramblers naturally should have good pickup...so may lose for the starting part.

1) depending on you going soft run-in or hard run in..

2) soft run in, 1.5k on the safer side.. den max is 100km/h.. your pattern can..

3) hard run in - within FIRST 10km, u must high rev till 13RPM.. VERY ROUGH.. RISK OF PISTON JAM.. 2t must pour into fuel tank.. fuel mixture must be just nice or rich.. very smooth after run, pick up and top end better compared to hard run in..

Read more by goggle search..

I used Hard run in.. OH YEA.. AFTER 20KM CHANGE EO.. because all metal has been "scrap" after the run in method..

hard run in after 13rpm, den daily high rev till 10rpm can liaoz.. run normally..den 1s 2k/5k/5k change EO.. den run in finish.. u will see improvement on temp/pick up/top end..

soft run in is 5k/5k/5k change eo den finish.. max speed 100km/h.. safer..

I have most of my friend running on soft.. but i can't imagine I ride at 80km.h per day.. hahaha..

so depending on how much you have completed.. REMEMBER.. if you have clock 800km already.. DUN CHANGE.. because your carbon already struck.. so you cannot just change method.. hard can change soft but soft cannot change to hard run in.. :)

carbon struck means if u high rev, temp will increase den next is piston jam..

Once overhaul muz do tis? Cuz I jus overhaul my bike. Any recommend for EO? Cuz I using gear box oil.

oke tested. Now I know the trick of good pickups, drag more gears and switch gears quickly. Never tot that this machine has so much power.

Is stock footrest the ori one? Coz I have 2 pairs of racing footrests, silver colour.

Bro, understand the bike function of spark and krr. spark as for general ride while krr for sports. when i owned a krr,non of the sparky can outrun me in both pick up or top end however i cant say tat my bike is better cos im a sports utility bike while sparky isnt. pick up is heavily on sprocket rear size, tires and rider itself. however to have a better understanding,a sports bike is design to run...fast.

if that's the case, I presume your previous sprocket is 14/41 or 15/41.. that's u feel both the same better.. haha..

anyway, pick up how fast once at expressway, 2 bike high rev, if my top gear rpm 10 can reach 180

but yours same top gear rpm 160, u confirm not happy de.. hahaha.. so depending on what u are looking at.. *I personally prefer to have "spare" so anytime.. :p

hahaha nice.

depends on how u play.. dun play, valve jam.. play too hard, piston ring loose.. hahaha..

btw guys i looking stock footrest. pls pm me...

sports better for corner.. stock always kanna once u corner + high chance of skid if u dunno how to "manage" stock cornering..

oke tested. Now I know the trick of good pickups, drag more gears and switch gears quickly. Never tot that this machine has so much power.

play wif it max rpm 10.. red zone increases wear and tear.. :)

@adesmond2 then for the racing footrest, which you recommend? currently using racingboy, height where leg is placed is ok. just that the angle of the brake abit high then hard to step.

Do what u want to do,do what u like, don't listen to what people said...u and your bike are bond together n become one heart..let the wind bring u let the gravity bring u..anything is possible it is only between u n ur bike...
