hey guys.. anyone knows why my kr will vibrate when rpm hits 6 and above? When i pillion my fren who is 60kg plus my weight 55kg.. speed at about 110-120.. or even alone.. my bike will vibrate.. my pillion aso say my bike vibrate very jialat.. i dont know the vibration is from engine or where.. but the whole bike seems to vibrate at high rpm.. is it caburetor nid to tune? and for my kr.. gear 6 110km/h my rpm is like 6.5-7rpm.. is it normal?

Cone bearing might be spoilt or some other stuff.. Might be normal also.. Just put heavier bar ends..

 

OH!! anyway my bike is at shop for gearbox overhaul.. mac say bearing all spoil.. hope it wont vibrate much when i get it nxt week

 

Which bike shop? Gearbox overhaul better take care and beware of chopping boards...

 

when i bought my kr.. previous owner say the bike is installed with racing block.. and i jus bought it.. is there much difference between stock and racing block when riding?

 

Someone explained but again. I used a racing block as normal block for 3 years +.. The main difference is the power and the FC.. I get very good FC now but poor pick up..

Hi guys! Sorry got a noob question to ask. How come my KR the exhaust sound very loud? The sound is different from other KR I heard from the road. The sound is more loud and rough. How to get rid of the sound cause whenever I start bike or reach my friend house he from 11th floor can hear very loud which is irritating especially during at night. I don't wish to attract attention anyone got any idea?

 

You have to listen and see if it's high pitch or low pitch.. High pitch is fine.. that means your bike is working ok.. BUT.. If the high pitch comes from block den it's no good..

 

If exhaust still ok..

Haha my 2t intake is lowest already. Thanks anyway shall observe a few days. Oh ya keen to know also the correct way of opening valve as in which gear and up to what RPM will be better.

RPM - use top gear will be the best. RPM 11..

 

If you wan to "test" the RPM 11 power.. gear 5 ok. But trust me, you will get addicted.. haha.. Gear 5 RPM 11 = 150~160.. Gear 6, estimated 180.. Pls do it in MY or anywhere wun affect anyone..

Lower gears, pls ensure you premix abit before trying..

Tested gear 2 = RPM 11 = 70km/h (digital) Analog - 80km/h

The reason u still having alot of smoke could be 2 things.

1.the excess 2t that accumulated from the time u decarbonise to the time u change your 2t pump. U need to whack like mad to burn all of them up.

2. It could be your 2t setting is not properly adjusted and is still high.

 

If u want a easy fix. Come meet me. Ill fix for you. Just bring along a packet of dunhill lights. Hahaha

1) disc

2) brake pad

 

The brake pad is a must to change if you change the disc.. so that the brake pad will not "warp" your disc to the crappy shape..

 

3) Bearings

 

front wheel bearings might be spolit if you nv change before..

 

4) tyre too old (crack/uneven)

 

If you never change your front tyre before for the past 2~3 years, about time to change it even the threads are new..

 

5) lastly, the rim..

 

Did you bump onto anything that might spoilt your rim?

Get a good bike shop and ask.. Don't just anyhow go into any bike shop else confirm have to change anything that you asked.

Hi there, you have to physically check your coolant level to determine if you still have coolant left. At times, temperature gauge maybe be faulty. If there is coolant, kindly also check the reservoir. Ensure that the coolant level drops over time. If it does not,means that the coolant pump is no longer working.
