people....help me please~~~~~~~~~~~~i couldn't kick start properly and the bike seems to be dead even if the bike had started.......OMG~~~and the worst thg is i couldn;t kick down to neutral gear beri damm hard to find ~~~~~~and hence i didn't noe whether i m in first gear not when i stoP.....aniway ganna horn by a taxi uncle for nothg and the taxi drivers sucKS totally.......they cut my lane and imagine i m ridin faster i could have been killed~~~~~~~~~~~~

u're running-in?

go change to those 'mineral' oil (low-grade) during running-in.

keep below 5K (rpm)

change e tires 1st~!!!!

& i mean u betta go do it FAST....

i never change tyre la....dunwan spend so much at one go...al the way 70-80km buay tahan liaO....too slow le.......cannot run fast olso scare wait engine cannot tahan in future....

beri hard to kick staRt didn't noe the "starter" was higher than SP...i hab to bring up my leg high to kick down.......

i think u can try to off the headlights completely... pull the choke... and then kickstart... u will know abt this if you read the posts earlier in this thread...

and if u wanna know whether in 1st gear or not... tap the gear many times... and play with the clutch... if cant drop anymore means in 1st gear lorz...

and yea... kicking to neutral is a problem for new bikes.. experienced the same problem b4... =)

 

well, for your own good, we advise you to spend the money and get a new pair of tyres... as the tyres that comes with the new bike is NO good... trust us!

For mine i change for $160....thats 1/2 a year ago.....but heard some1 say thats place charge only $150 now.......wat u think le???

 

 

i believe $150 is for both front tyres. meaning they will give you front tyre for the back also. $170 will give you front and rear tyre. so check the tyre properly when they change for you as sometimes they say front and rear, end up both front tyres..

wat i noe is if u wanna change a 110/70 profile for rear wheel, i dun think u can get a real rear tyre instead will be given front tyre for rear. unless its a 120/80 profile.. u want big tyres or small behind?

sorry the kickstarter thing you need to get used to it. Tips on easier starting of bike, I have posted earlier in this thread. You'll just have to trace back.

 

The stock tyres for KRR is IRC made in Thailand. This tyre is quite ok in dry condition, but performs terribly in wet weather. Like you, I did not have the money to change to a better pair of tyres; I have been riding 3 years on the stock IRC tyres, and my rear set has gone botak for quite a long time.

 

IRC is still usable for relatively hard riding in dry weather. Cornering shouldn't be a problem, but dun go to the extreme. For wet weather, you will have to brake early (and I really mean EARLY), and use lots of engine braking. Do not apply hard pressure on your brakes, bcos the tyres locks very very easily, which is why you need more engine brake. Try and get to know the operating limits of your tyres; that will save you your skin.

oh yea... b4 u change to your new set of tyres, kipsgal... try and do burnout... hahahaha.. if not waste your money... u paid for the IRC tyres!! lol`!!!

my fren they all olso ask me whether can help me burn out when i change new tyres ..ok guys...serious matter here .....when i start to go at first gear....the noise is beri loud and my frens commented that i throttle too much and my cluth release too fast le...if i throttle a bit..the bike will like gtg dead..and whenever i want to change to higher gear...i release the cluth and it olso produce the loud noise..and also especially when i pillion people...the noise will produce louder....how can i control it correctly & smoothly??
