indeed we need not on the choke each time we start up..i have not tried kicking the engine when its still on switched off mode but i'll give it a try..its always a learning step onto gaining newer knowledge..

i've heard a fellow rider mentioned to me about the overflow of petrol..so what he did was fully open my throttle whilst engine was off but the ignition was on..and than kick start it at the same time..so its ignition on..open full throttle and kick start..you all can try this too..

but still need to go for servicing already..coming to 2 months it hasn't seen the doctor..raceworks hey..hmm..shall give it a try..

to all those trying to learn kick-starting without switching the choke on.. :goodluck:

yah..thats why..i thought its only my fuel gauge which is not accurate..but all of urs too..mm..thanx for the info..thought of going to go workshop and ask the mechanic..

I guess u got to put ur bike with stand to measure the actual petrol. If u measure it upright, it will be lesser than actual one.

Just for those who experienced a hard time to start ur bike. Y not try this :

1. Off ur engine by pressing 'stop' engine run button

2. Off ur light

3. Take out ur key

Then Im able to start just at one hard kick without open throttle. But during raining days will need more kicks. No harm to try, right?

If you only stick to one..The one you trust..I don't see why not? Anyway I don't leave bike there..I prefer to observe what they're doing to my bike..At the same time get to learn new stuff..

Ops....Sori....I mean do it when u off ur engine, not starting the engine. Of cos need to take out ur key when u leave ur bike la. Otherwise no more there when come back ..:cheeky:

Maybe I shd make it clearer:

When u want to park your bike for more than 1 day

1. Off ur engine by pressing 'stop' engine run button

2. Off ur light

3. Take out ur key

When u want start your bike

1. Just press the 'run' engine button

2. Insert key

3. Kick it!

4. Turn on ur light

Maybe off the engine button will cut off the circuit and starting the engine is easier. And i found out starting with the light off will be easier. Dont u guys think so?

Posted

hmmm.. btw... it should be start with the light off first.. it is the right way or else the bulb will spoil easily... btw the off of engine giving it 2-3 times kick and den on again and kick works.. woots... lol..

if after 2-3 kick i cant start then i'll off my light... coz by offing the lights the electrical energy generated by the kick start will all by transfer to the spark plug so easier ignition lor...

that's wat i know...
