Hmm.. My bike is a lil mod-ed (a lil only). I tink personified's internals r stock. (correct me bro) n he is havin fun on d track. I noe of sum1 here (own up u young devil!) hu kept his stock n ran d bike lyk mad everyday. No problem oso.

As for d carb, i havent heard of carbs givin dat kinda sounds before. Cant comment dere.

yes bro..u r right..im trying damn hard to keep internal stock...:p

i wanted to change the reed valve but my mechanics says DONT! he claims the stock are better and it wont break easily...

btw the lao hong sound is not coming from the carbs..its from the airbox thats norm cause once u get up to speed ,the rotax needs plenty of air to get going

Thanks mesa. Does yours sound like the one below? Sounds more bass-y than stock, I have to say.

Oo really? Does that price include installation? I was told $650 without installation. I might go see them after work one of these days to clarify.

OH wow!!! anyone got lobang or know where can i get this type of rear fender???? power le...hahahaha

Yup it's the rs model. Not bumblebee. It's the 06 I think. With the white lion design.

Not sure what's the "bumblebee" you mean. Is your speedo meter dig. one? If yes, we are riding the same model. But biketech told me that the titumuim are for 2007 onward model. No sure izzit legal if we still insist on getting the titumuim one.

actually ive read on many forums that the stock reed valve has a restricted flow as compared to aftermarket ones, namely boyeseen and vforce3. I cant personally vouch for this but many if not all who have used these reed valve have reported improvement in the throttle response of the bike.

Personally i feel its ok to mod the internals of ur bike provided you know what ur doing, and the risks of carrying out those mods. I think that the fun of owning these 125cc bikes is in pushing it to the limit. So im more on the pro-modding camp.

Hope there'll be a meet up w the aprilia riders as I've lots to learn. Looking at the price of the new arrow exhaust kinda seems out of my budget. So was thinking if anyone has a second hand gin pipe which is willing to let go :)

thats very good defensive road riding..2 fingers on clutch and another 2 on brake levers...but during neg a corner, try not to leave fingers on brake levers (u unknowingly might be applying slight pressure on the levers which can be a little dangerous) if u going fast sometimes u brake and then release the levers and u feel bike is not leaning over, its because yer fingers might still be applying slight pressure(u wont feel u pressing it but slight brushing of lever can effect brakes too ) and with brakes on,yer fork cant compress nicely for u to lean bike over..unless u understands the mechanics of trail braking (which i dont advise for daily road riding)

Erm.. Thanks for the compliment.. :cheeky:

I'll try take my fingers off the brakes during cornering next time. My rear shocks have given up on me so haven't been cornering alot lately. Once i get replacement then...

Did try trail braking on a modded RD350 abt 2 years back. Damn scary sia. Haha.. Wouldn't wanna do that again. :faint:

OH i got a qn for u guys. My bikes rear tail light is dead. But when i press the brakes the lights still come out. Anyone can give a suggestion to what the problem might be? Is it a connection issue? Or the bulb blow. But unlikely that the bulb blow right, since when i press brake the lights still come on.

Ur bulb blow alrdy. Had that trouble a couple of times last mth.Try change and see how dude. :)

OH wow!!! anyone got lobang or know where can i get this type of rear fender???? power le...hahahaha

I have! I can pass u if u want. Heheh.. :p

I'll be ordering some items from pjme.uk, if you would like, we could share the shipping cost. Only if you're not in a rush to get it though. Remember someone posting they having one around on the previous page. $100. Probably can get it couple of tens off if you order along with me

Vyruz,

I didnt say I approve of frame sliders. I'm not really keen on them.

It's good you did your homework on them. There have been varying opinion among many riders. Even our dear Lacrimosae here swore he wont get sliders etc, and talked about how they might damage the frame etc. But now he's got R&G sliders to go protect his CF fairings. To me, I feel sliders are alright if you're just using your bike for road riding. They'll protect your bike in falls and drops. But track riding, I wouldnt recommend. You'll be at much higher speeds, higher chance to highside or lowside thus increasing the probability your frame sliders actually damage the frame. Nowadays the sliders are not mounted directly to the frame but to a bracket that's mounted to the frame. I suppose that helps. Decision lies with you. :)

If you guys want to discuss whether or not you want to order, do it via PM or phonecall. Please dont take up unneccessary space on the forum. It causes a big break in other relevant discussions. Thanks.

after T1 im on 3rd and pull till 6th and stay fully open thruout T2(hanging on for dear life :X) drifting towards the rumple strip end, brief 100% braking then bang! bang! bang! into 3rd for T3...

if leaning into T2,u feel bikey feels light,2 options back off throttle a little once lean over, wack throttle to a stop, that will push the rear tyre into the tarmac or at full throttle, juz brush brake lever slightly to compress fork... :D

unlike the superbikes, theres no need to shift body to hang out...at full prone, shift head slighty to left n attack T2 with u n bikey as 1 and then scream WAHHHHHHLIAOOOOOOO.....

Thanks for the insight to your riding technique. I do it slightly differently. I'm on gear 6 on 2nd straight, abt 160-165, then i down 1 gear to gear 5, take turn 2, without hanging out. Then before turn 3, i drop 2 more gears to gear 3.

I always ask other rs125 riders this qn. I personally feel that our bike speed drops before turn 2 because of the incline leading to the turn. So to mantain the speed, i drop a gear to gear 5 and power through turn 2.

Maybe you can try it and give me your opinion?? :) Thanks in advance.
