Can someone enlighten me... I can start my bike m696 but when I engage it in first gear engine dies off even when the side stand is up...got no prob in starting when it is back in neutral gear ...anybody encounter tis prob b4...I suspect the side stand safety mechanism is spoilt... Any chance I can override the safety mechanism ?

Wet clutch and dry clutch is not compatible unless a conversion kit is involved.

dry clutch is just show boat. Yes. Darn shiok to hear the cling clung cling clung sound. But your wallet also following the rythm.

 

For long term happiness n wallet comfort, stick with wet clutch. There is a reason behind why the current ducati bikes all come stock with wet clutch instead.
