Haha not really a fan la.. Just a little to impulsive.. If I had known, i should have gotten the exhaust first.. Haha..

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

with the db killers in.. i would say decent sound abit better than stock.. w/o is equivalent or some say louder than termis with more bassy rumble.. worthy change for me coz i can ride anyday/anytime i want.. 2 of my biker colleagues prefer my akras over my termis in terms of quality, looks & sound..

Market rate for cabon is 10/kg.

Think titanium easily 50/kg.

Suddenly Meng pte ltd is making big $$$$

It sure rhymes!!! Mine titanium ter-mi 1 kg how much???

 Titanium should be quite ex... But not sure abt the price as itz not as common as other materials... Anyway, i believe only the outer sleeve is made of titanium n the inner part is still normal stainless steel...

24k is valve clearance... Valve clearance is based on distance travelled not time. Not doing this means that there will be excessive clearance which results in higher FC and cam/valve/valve shim wear. Although AFAIK there's nothing catastrophic it is better to follow ducati's recommendations as none of us are experts when come to the engine. The impact will not be immediate, however such delays will affect the engine's longevity

Warranty with Minerva aside.

Tech Tips

TPS & Throttle Body Setting - For IAW 1.6M ECU/Computer

-Remove tank, airbox, air funnels, fairring..etc

-Adjust the adjusting screw till the throttle is tight against the body (adjusting screw is on the left hand side)

-Remove computer socket remove the plastic cover.

-Connect the volt meter across pin 16(-) & 30(+) adn turn ignition on.

-Adjust the TPS sensor till you get 150mv.

-Then adjust the throttle body adjusting screw till you get 300mv.

-Start up your bike & warm up till 80deg C.

-Adjust the trimmer in your computer till you get CO reading between 4-6%, turn in (lean) turn out (rich)

For me I dont have a CO meter so I set it back to the factory setting and after a few ride I feel the richer side makes my bike fly .

Hi guys. Sorry to intrude, but may I know the petrol grade (octane) you all use for your bikes? Been reading around and found out that a lot in the Ducati.ms forum people subscribe to the "as low octane as you can go without knocking/pinging" school of thought. Just wondering what the superbike riders think about it. Thank you in advance!

Ex Monster 400 EFI, ex Sport 1000 rider. Currently with Monster 1100 evo coming in.

Many thanks,

I too have subscribed to that notion, for the belief (please correct me if wrong) that the lowest possible octane level for a compression ratio ensures the cleanest burn of fuel as it is easiest to combust without pre-detonation (knocking/pinging). Using far higher octanes, or its avajlability in the market such as vpower etc safely caters to forced induction (FI) engines which grant a significantly higher compression ratio than naturally aspirated (NA) engines like nearly all bikes, and most cars.

Id say go for the lowest, safest octane level recommended as per your rides' user manual. Anything higher is just money down the drain - in my eyes.

Class 3 = 02/07/2002

Class 2B = 24/04/2008

Class 2A = 22/12/2009

Class 2 = 10/02/2011

Unless your engine has been tuned for that particular octane.
