engine guard is "SHAPE" or "PRO"?

" SHAPE " my friend

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

My Toys:

Harley XR1200

CB400-V-tec III (served me well )

Streetfighter S ( never felt better! )

Dude, to my knowledge there are only 3 in SG. I own a black 1, another black 1 was just recently sold and i heard that there is a red 1 owned by an angmo running ard.

I think u have a better chance getting a 1000s as there are 14 pcs running ard. Or the Paul Smart as there are 18 pcs running ard.

Damn, saw the one sold in July... woulda been mine if I was in the market at the time! Thanks for the info

Anyone here got experience mounting gopro hero? Not too sure what would be the best way about it. The adhesive mounts look like they would rip

off the paint once taken off.

Apparently the suction mounts work well ..smthn like this? (not my pict)

I use Seasucker suction mounts. Much better quality than the suction mount supplied by GoPro. Sturdier, better build quality and less vibrations. Can get from the camera shop called John 3:16 in Funan Centre 5th floor.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Dude, i dun think i've heard of a ducati that is problem free. LOL

The diavel runs on 240 tires that might be the reason. Rosso II are stock tires on the diavel. I know f 2 diavels wif more then 5000km on it and have yet to change tires. I'm on the Rosso II now and am comfortable wif them but its subjective to what you want out of them.

to Ben & B3nn,

yup, have recently clocked 10,000km on the stock (Diavel) tyres : )

cheers!

I use several mounts. I have one on my helmet, one on handlebar and also a suction cup mount for tank. A friend of mine also uses a magnetic mount, which is very good is you have a steel tank.

I have no complaints for helmet and handlebar mounts, good picture quality low vibrations. The suction cup mount for me gives unusable footage if you're doing anything above 60kph due to the vibration from our twins. Basically, I find the mount pretty useless. The handlebar mount is my favourite for bike mounted because it fits on just about any bike without clip on handlebars. You can mount it on the trellis frame if you'd like as well and get a pretty good picture. Helmet mount is great too because you can turn your head to film stuff while on the go.

Hope that helps a little.

Hey I'm rather particular about image output, so to me jerky videos, shaky videos, so on so forth are pretty much unwatchable. From a scientific perspective, the vibrations are amplified because of the long stem of the suction cup mount. I have tried to suction cup mount on a monster and also recently on my 1098. I junked the footage right after. Seems like some others have had better results though, so I guess you could try.

Unless you could somehow reduce the height of the stem by about 3/4 or reduce the flex in the stem I don't see how it would be any better. Could be better on a 4 cylinder like the desmo though. It's not the wind that causes the images to be buang. It's really the vibrations. The suction cup mount comes free though so try and see for yourself first. That will be the best judge.

But to put your mind at ease, if you mount properly, CONFIRM won't fly out.

Most of the time i use the helmet mount. I find it has the perfect angle for recording some of your bike + some of your surroundings.

Yup...I guess it is all trial and error. Also depending on high a quality video we would want to get. Just tried the suction cup mount on the tank and the fairing. The videos did have vibrations. But for a first timer like me, I found it good enough! exciting to play with new toy! Got any results also happy. You know what I mean?

I think you're probably right about the stem issue. I tried to move the stem as close to the mounting point as possible, which meant it was lower. Not too sure if that helped. Will do the helmet mount soon once I got another helmet. haha! Thanks bro
