7months bought from the same bikeshop i went to do check for this problem and says he dunno anything before sell it to me even though i m a regular there..coe until 2017

Wouldn't it be very obvious for the block to leak out 1 full reserve coolant in 2-3 days? Maybe the coolant pump...

 

Btw Hondaman, may I know... Is your crash bar v-tec type? Does it touch your leg when riding?

 

I tell u ah, I also kena like that. The engine felt heavy and the performance very sluggish.Reserve coolant dry fast. Sent my bike for checks and turns out to be block leak. Mech gave a suggestion to sent it for skimming. Total damage 600+buckeroos. Now bike ok already. but this also a 50/50 chance. if it wanna leak it will leak.

 

My crash bar touch my leg. I think the crash bar was the cause of my swollen ligament (buang with bike before). Till now no heal . Always pain.

mech say change the block + gasket will cost around 1.6K....

 

Not sure if you ahve gone ahead with the repair to be carried out by them..if not, perhaps PM me your contact and I see how I can help for the replacement cost to be cheaper. Someone did this before...he's one guy who ride till engine block overheat and cracked.

Can why not..doing freelancing work is like that one lah..soookut_soookut. But sometime got project can be very stressful especially having fickle minded client and meeting deadline...having one now actually..but can hack la!

 

One thing you can't beat...heeee..x2!....I polished bike at 2am in the morning sometime:cheeky: ...even on middle period of the seven month ghost outing season. They are around and can hear them say..this fellow "siao one!".

Hi jus change to riding Version S recently but my suspension is those RXZ type(yellow collour)unknow brand..Any idea what type of suspension is better?Ask around for original SHOWA & Bitubo but price too expensive..

Not cheap also...considered by Australian market as "world class"...whatever that mean. Look around biketiam at Enuos or some other industrial type bike outlets for second hand one. I've seen two Showa and 1 Kayaba in the past selling from $300 to $400 but you have to decide immediate..it disappeared fast!

KYB also good made in jepun. used it for 6 yrs, now using other brand shock

thanks for the info..really bo bian mus change it cos when i cornering i can feel my bike jumping up and down from behind suspension...will go searching again =)

just came back from bikeshop the mech say it is engine block leak coolant. there is a small hole at both side of the engine top block there got coolant trace at right side.....jialat...mech say change the block + gasket will cost around 1.6K.... is there a cheaper way to fix?

 

my fren bike also like that. the shop say its not worth it to fixed this problem. unless u wan to keep this bike for another 2 to 3 years , if not they usually recommand you to scrape the bike. however if the problem is not very serious you still can ride the bike.

 

Tempopary solution to this problem will be / things need to take note of :

 

• need to regulary top up the coolent to ensure that there is sufficient to cool down the bike
  
• check ur sparkplugs as they will be wet too for certain cases
  
• when the temp indicator lights up, go change the coolent asap as the coolent had loses its effect.

hey guys i think i make a new record 441km to reserve, super scary sia, i don believe it, at 1st thought my reserve spoil sia, haha... I think new EO makes alot of diff. i also added revtec and broquet, haha i know abit kiasu but how cares

best i did is 400km b4 reserve and that's without the revtec n broquet.. think can consider getting both liao..
