my coolent at the resevoir keep boiling from sengkang to pasir ris i stop at traffic light can hear water boiling already... i top up coolent still the same, cant be water pump cuz i just change early this year... if this problem gets any longer how will it affect my bike?

wah,ah pek wat sealant they talking abt?last time my plug there oso got coolant but now dunnoe still got or not..

 

Its a sealant use with coolant..stops leak but if your gasket blown..than chances not too good lah.

B4 it boils...did ur radiator fan comes "ON"? Problems could be anything from radiator fan switch..stuck thermostat, rusts on coolant hoses or coolant ration mixes wrong..all all of these. Great p[ossibilty is rusting in your radiator as tap water been used.

Guys wanna ask you ar. Now my hand itchy so was wondering if modifying my stock exhaust would create a change in sound and maybe performance in my bike. And is it cheap doing at sengkwang?

i went to planet motrs to change my coolant, did the washing, but something amiss me is he only use 3/4 of a litre of coolant.. he top up my main coolant and the rest my reservoir. if im not wrong for version s we nid to use about a 1ltr up to 1.8ltr.. i still have bout 1/4 from the bottle.. so care to commnt on this mr william? didnt have time to go to u hence the nearest was ubi..

3/4 of a litre?..your bike need at least 1.8 to 2 litres in total and at least 1.5 goes into the radiator inlet (main). There is still a lot of old coolant inside and if previous coolant has tap water..you are back to square one..still rust will form. In short..u still have at least 1.25 litres of old coolant inside or the tap water he hose in. Did he remove any possible rusting in ur coolant tubes if any?

Gd mornin guys.. Hv some problem w my s4 recently.. My bike refuse to start sometimes.. When i press e start button it doesnt even hv e startin sound, its as if i nvr press anythin.. Bt my ignition has on, my front light all has on.. Need to off n on bck e ignition a few times den it helps.. Bt after it start my volt meter will indicate L.LL.. Wad does dis mean?.. Im very worry.. Care to help Mr william?.

Spray some WD40 into the gaps of all the switches in that assembly. Probably bad contact. Better still..open up the two halves by two philip screws below and give it a good spray inside. If still persist...your start switch whole assembly need to be change liao..$80-$120.

hey guys,

sometimes my s4 feels "Heavy" like theres lesser power than it should have. you know like how it is when you ride with a lousy battery and its like not as 'powerful' than it should be?

when changing gears its just not smooth sometimes.

but, its like... it's alive, when its happy it runs fine but when its not it behaves differently.

i can't really tell what the problem is, or whether there actually is any problem.

sometimes it runs smooth and is very nice to ride, sometimes its not.

i did grounding before. but i don't know whether it has been done properly not.

maybe its because the grounding wasn't did properly? thats why sometimes i feel like theres no power?

I get what you mean. Sometimes shiok, sometimes f* up. I think it is due to heat. Our engine runs better in cooler condition. What you can do is to use a better quality coolant and also better quality engine oil. Grounding depends on where the points are connected. Hope this helps ;)

its not like when its cool then it runs smooth when its hot it doesn't. get what i mean?

but anyway, its fine if theres really no solution for this. but yea, if there is then.. good!

did u warm up? or get thinner EO.
