Adjust the psi accordingly..try to make sure that when you insert the pump into your tyre, it is totally shut and air do not escape. if there is no air escaping, dont have the psssssssssss sound.

If totally flat, look for the "flat tyre" logo on one of the buttons of the air pump. Den remove the tire cap, connect the host and juz wait until it starts beeping. Remove the host slowly (dun force it out), put back the cap and ride off.

When I inserted the pump to the valve, air started to leak and I can't seems to make it 'shut' nicely on the valve.......and the air pump did not try to pump air into the tire as well.....

When the tyre deflates, the middle part of the pump nozzle is in contact with your valve. From this point, just push the nozzle a bit more onto the valve to start pumping air into your tyre.

Try a different air pump or petrol kiosk to ensure that it's not faulty.

He who hesitates is lost!

sometimes you may need to move the bike back and forth in order to get the valves into a comfortable position to insert the nozzle

i have to do that all the time... such a pain in the ass

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.

yeah, kinda like making love.

gotta push the pump nozzle deep and in so you dont hear any whooshing sound.

if you pushed deep liao, and still got whoosh sound, try rotating or moving the nozzle around to find the best location, then keep it there and the machine will do the rest.

when you hear the beep beep sound, you're done, take it out, and put it back in your pants. oh sorry, i mean put it back to the stand and ride off.

erm.. try to hold nearer to the connecting part.

use ur thumb and press on the back of the connecting part.

if you insert nicely, there should not be any air leaking out.

most important, set the correct KPA/PSI.

if u set lesser then what is in the pressure of the tire, of course it will deflate.

if you pump and hear air leaking, just move it around and see get the "sweet spot"

juz asking is the pressure gauge at the gas stations accurate?

as in i need to add extra pressure stated on the gauge to get the exact pressure i want accurately?

as in corrective...

Every now and then, i will check the tyre's pressures using a digital gauge. Most of the time, what is shown on the pump's meter corresponds to my gauge's reading.

(Of cos you can say that the gauge is not calibrated, but lets not go there.)

So i guess, it can be trusted lah. :)

Another thing, alot of headaches can be solved by using a L valve.

Probably the best $50 or so I've spent on a bike. :)

if the fino is using tube tires, then he cannot install the angle valve...

try using a angle adaptor, can be bought from LAB, insert the adaptor before pumping your tires...

i have to use it for my GTR too, can never insert the air hose to my tires properly...

nv notice before. but if dun pump air there.. then pump where? balls and bicycles still feasible to use foot pump.. or even hand pump, motorcycles use foot pump is going to be a chore.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
