I've been to US for a couple of times..

 

Oakleys are cheap compared to SGP.. try to go to their factory outlets like Premium outlets, Factory outlets stores..

Before going, go to the website and print coupons.. Discount with discount!! That time I went with some ladies that are just crazy to shop, learnt the rope from them..

 

You drink protein shakes or GNC type of person??

their health products like GNC products are dirt cheap, health supp like glucosamine, fish cod oil sells cheap as M&Ms..

best buy for parents and relatives..

 

Surprisingly, Sony products are cheaper there too.. you may wanna check price first..

Buy Reeboks and Guess shirts/jeans their prices there is like our Giodano.

Eat there chinese food in China town dam cheap!

And buy SEEs chocolates, not cheap but very good.

Other brands like M&Ms cheap cheap if you go to their factory to buy. Can buy the 1kg one, like our big Twisties size eat until dam shiok!

Go find outlet shops like 'ROSS'. Even Samsonite is cheaper buys from there. And Towels! I missed all their towels. Big Fluffy and cheap. Not like the sg versions, where they are small, fluffy no doubt but ultra heavy.

 

Unless you have child size feet like me. Hiking shoes, Nikes and crocs are dirt cheap. But you should source online first before you buy. But always make sure you have plenty of cash on you when you shop. Using sg credit cards or drawing cash from atms there cost you really extra.

 

Look for bank atms that says 'union'. They dont charge admin finance charges.

 

I love buying cosmetics and even The Body Shop there. They have stuff not available in sg.

 

And if you are buying for g/fs from Victoria secrets. Aim for the nude g strings. Lots of females who dances or wear tight pants will appreciate it. And dont buy their bras. Its crappy because its all mans that ufactured for big broad angmoh bodies. and if you must, look for tags that reads 'petite'.

whenever im on b trip to states, ladies in the office will ask me to help them buy cosmetics.

cosmetics r really cheap there as compare to here.

dun buy clothing, wat i had seen mostly made-in-third world countries even branded ones.

electronics, be aware compatible voltage power, cellphone system....etc.

Some electrical items can buy, some is not worth the trouble.

 

They uses 2 pins plugs, while we use 3. And we are somewhat higher voltage then theirs, therefore we uses 3 pin plugs with a earth safety.

 

If you must buy. Then just buy step down transformer for sg use when you come back. Can liao.

 

Unless its handphone with sim cards and 3g. Dont buy. Or you can buy for use in usa and chuck it back there. Donate your used phone at the library also can.

Their body spray is ultra cheap, 3 bottles for the proce of 2 IIRC..

Selling at abt USD15 per bottlw, I can't rem the actual price..

 

I saw shops selling the same spray at SGD40+..

 

That spray will mesmerise even the strongest will man!!
