Real disappointed experience with one of the big bike rider out there.

Dear all, just wanna share with you guys what happened to me earlier this afternoon at 219 Lavender sticker shop. Pls do share with me your thoughts. I accept all kind of comments.

 

- Parked my bike (Spec3) along Beatty Road, just outside 219 Sticker Shop earlier 3pm when this mid 25-30 rider FBE7584K (Honda ST 1300 series) (SBF forum nick CAS) did a illegal turn into the 1 way street (against the traffic) when his side box (one of the witness outside told me) knocked into my bike, causing my bike to have a big impact stationary fall which alert my attention when I was in the shop.

 

- Immediately ran out and lift up my bike with a help of his FRIEND (thanks)

Crashed bar, paintwork, horn, number plate, exhaust pipe and side fairing all got damaged. However this ST rider, didn't even apologise and instead - blamed me for parking my bike illegally along the road when he actually forgotten that he turned in illegally. So as normal, i took photos of my damages and his bike and aftermath, I only requested a payment of "$30" for me to repair the damages caused by him.

 

Not only this rude guy refuses to pay me a "$30" after a long arguement, instead he says that he wanna CLAIM against me when this is not even my fault. He said that his sidebox was scratched and hence it's fair.

Next, he even told me that he's gonna report my bike for possessing an illegal pipe (which isn't)

 

You told me to post it at stomp, sbf and all the forum about this cause you don't give a damn.

Out there, if youre reading this I really wonder what kind of mature rider are you.

 

Share me your thoughts people. Honestly speaking, i don't wanna pursue this matter but this mature guy attitude really makes me feel disgrace to the biking world when we're supposed to take care of each another. I don't know is it legal to post his bike number/ picture up here to let you guys know, as I'm afraid my thread will be banned.

anyway just go make a idac report and see if you can claim against him

i notice vehicles like those long lorries, have difficulty going into the other lane to turn towards the outside lane of the main road

If you are parking illegally and still got hit u have the 100% right to claim. All he can do is to complain to TP for u parking illegally. TP can chose to summon you. But u still have a 100% right to claim against him. Happen to me last time. When i park at the road side and went for coffee. Hit by a lorry. A police patrol car happen to drive past and see my bike on the floor. The lorry driver complain to the police for me parking there. But the police told him at most he summon me, but that does not make him not at fault for knocking my bike down. Eventually the guy suck thumb and let me claim his insurance. Claimed a total of 7k for scratches on my previous STx. ( He got a shock that a simple knock cost him this much).

Lets vote. both claim on each other. scratch for the stx and multiple probs for the spec3. who ever gets more claim. report to tp. who get more point and pay fine.
