HD dealership will most likely be launching their 07 models at the Singapore big bikes fest comin sept at clark quay...

stay tuned for more details...

N 1 more thing... all the big twins would be 1550cc... no longer the usual 1450c...

yea can't wait for the launch man... abt a mth later. hmmm i think the new engines are more like above 1580cc leh because it's 96 cubic inches... dunno whats the exact conversion but should be arnd 1580cc la.. 30cc more can also make alot of difference u know... lol..

eh so how fengdrew... found your RK?

in my opinion ah, if i were u, i'd get a 2nd hand one la... it's cheaper and comes with accessories (provided the previous owner put up some) a new one costs more, costs EVEN more with accs... and it's a twin can engine.. EVO sounds better to me.. :p

hmmm asking abt my search for a harley ah... dunno la.. if can find then i'll find.. if not then juz wait... but time will tell.. lol..

still trying to sell my dragstar.. :p

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

Why are they increasing the cc? Is it the power demand from customers, are we getting heavier or is it an excuse to pay more road tax?

Either way, thank you fengdrew for this information. I'll keep an eye out for the launch.

if i get a harley by then i'll go for the convoy la... more fun since i assume almost all will be harleys.. i remember the last time i rode with a few harleys, i felt very small and quiet. like many years ago when i followed all my late teenage cousins to the park or soccer field when i was only 8 years old! lol!

if not, i'll just go for the unveiling la...

There are about 6 V-rods I've seen out and around, and there are as other posters have said a couple for sale at dealers. V-rods occasionally appear in the Straits Times classifieds also.

It's a very smooth ride indeed with a completely different power band compared to aircooled Harleys. Good luck with finding one second hand. If you get one you will love it.

I was at 1 of the restaurants in Jalan Kayu around 8pm and saw this V-Rod, VRSC rode past, true beauty..

Such a performance drag. Wonder if it's any of the HD forumers...

Dun think u'll like the stock V-rod..

sounds terrible..

I rode the street rod and the footpeg's position sucks..

Most asians cannot push the bike forward and backward without a hassle.

Ur inner thighs will hurt if u clamp onto the oil tank too hard..

I'll still prefer their Choppers

hey marvypower, you rode a street rod b4??exp or u owned one b4??aniway i think v-rod better than street rod..if not the screamin eagle v-rod also not bad..heard that the sound it produces is not like a harley..so mabbe HD riders will outcast the V-ROD huh??

I believe what I saw was a VRSCR Street Rod and yes, the sound is not the usual HDs'.. and probably due to that most riders will outcast it unless they are going for it for the looks of a drag rather than the sound.. it's a little softer though U can hear the deep rumble from afar..

I would love the sound of the HDs' tuktuktuk, tuktuktuk anytime..

The timing of the engine and its revs.. :thumb:
