Hello Harley owners, is there anyway to find out if an 883 sportster has been big bored to 1200 besides opening up the engine to check?

Not that I know of.. It looks exactly the same on the outside :cool:

A dyno test would probably cost more than just getting a mechanic to check the block. Anyway I'm getting my sportster tml, and I don't even know how to use the switch and speedo and all. Can someone teach me? I can't ask the previous owner as he has passed on.

my handle bar vibrates like crazy upon doing casual turnings most times on the left, any one knows why? it feels like a loose bearings and even if i secure firmlay the handlebar, still couldnt fight the vibration..any insights? on sportster 883

Thanks. Anyway for the newer sportster models, there is a bracket that holds the left pillion pegs while the right side one is mounted on the pipe, does anybody know where I can find this bracket?

Depending how u ride ur sporty...

Aggressive - change earlier

Relax - change afford to drag slightly longer

 

...that is if u want ur engine to last...

And oso observe the oil when drained out and fine tune from there... :angel:

more pros than cons imho..and cheaper in the long run

in fact i cant think of any cons in using it.

It's K&N... KNN is short form for a Hokkien vulgarity.

No cons at all, except maybe jealousy from stockers.
