As you can see I'm a bit of a newbie, with insufficient posts, preventing me from posting on the Garage Section. As I have done numerous upgrades on my Monster recently, I have tons of parts in good condition lying around in my house that I am quite happy to part with, for sale. I wonder whether bros here are OK with me posting these items for sale in this forum?

M400 for sale, I've got a 1997 M400 with new paintwork. COE expires Sep 2017. Timing belts changed, new tires (michelin pilot), chain/sprocket, tail chop, stock exhaust. Great condition and runs well. Never had any problems apart from replacing wear and tear items. Red with racing stripe. PM if interested.

I realised I barely ride her, not even the weekends. Megan is up for grabs. She's a pearl white M796 with bidded plate fully stock. Letting her go for 24k. Reg on Sept

???? What kind of "set back" are you thinking of? It's a bike, meant to be ridden leh.

Ok. In terms of maintenance eg valve clearance, does it really hv to be done at 12k mileage lyk the manual stated? N also wats the f.c lyk? How many km can it go b4 hitting reserve? Maybe 70% highway, 30%normal rd. Thanx.

It costs about $6000 - $8000 per year for a 996cc bike with maintenance and petrol and all parking, insurance, tyres, clutch, depreciation etc for 20000km of riding.

It should be $4000 - $7000 per year for 796 due to longer service intervals for 20000km and higher depreciation for the first 3-5 years.

Ride big bike must pay more $$$. If save on service intervals, cost more in repairs that's all.

When it comes to bikes, I only see red…

EO 3l or 4l, big bikes all about the same. FC should be at least 15 km/l.
