after overtaking him, he came to chase after me and tail-gated me, so i decided to play "tap my brake game" with him, after awhile, he stopped tailgating me.

Not to criticize your actions, but don't do that... if he knocks into you from behind, no matter whose fault it is you will be on the losing end.

No point raising blood pressure over one person. Just let it go.

my efforts to tame the 25y/o 2 stroker beast turned out to be a nightmare. :faint:

the bike stalled umpteen times, once @ x-junction, didn't even make it outta the neighbourhood. :faint:

sweated big time to resuscitate it by kick starting countless times..

i'll just leave it as i'd rather ride my bike anyday.

probably this 2 stoker is not being maintained and taken care of properly...

2 stroke bikes, need to be maintained regularly.

as the saying goes, take care of bike and bike will take care of you.

my 10 year old TA150 2 stroker never let me down in anyway since day 1 under my ownership.

time for rebuild... 25 is very old in bike years... most components will be reaching end of life already

This morning while riding back from JB... SLE YCK slip road.... Oh my gawd keys flew out from the ignition......

Slowly slow down to the side of the road.... jog back and pick up the bunch of keys.... couldn't help but notice a roadkill mynah on the road...... omen!!!!!:eek::eek:

this is dangerous, any ways to retify the problem?

your ignition gone already... time to change new ignition

boring rider. with a boring bike.

i m just wondering aloud. all those road works, did they actually do any planning?

this afternoon while riding towards West Coast Road, notice there are road works on the left and right. but the distance between the 2 is not more than 20m. as a result, vehicles from left and right try to squeeze into the middle lane, causing bottleneck and also near accidents. damn fcuk with these idiot contractors...

also, the crossing on Boon Lay Way leading to IMM is seeing more and more daredevils rushing across the road when the traffic light is green like nobody business. when you horn him, they give you that dulan look. pedestrians these days all really have balls of steel.

today also been running around town for errands. now my butt is still painful from the riding.

pedestrians know that the driver/rider will always be at fault when they kena bang. so perhaps that reason makes them more "daring" when jay-walking

today while riding to work..

saw green lotus (could be eclipse) with bright green color (SGX 74???) driving zig zag, in and out of lanes across all 3 lanes on CTE... almost comparable to kup kia in jb with much faster speed. wish i have video cam to capture the whole action..

he really go fast into gaps.. almost similar like riding fast bike in traffic congestion. wonder the driver is biker too ?

i was squeezing before i saw him but after i saw his actions, slowed downed from distance and enjoyed the show..

it looks much like this

today while riding in ecp towards changi airport. all of a sudden got tailgated by a mitsubishi lancer while i was on the 2nd lane. so i changed lane and let the car go and then realised it was a female p plate driver. was so pissed off.

lane changed back to 2nd lane and then both of us exit at rochor and were held up at the traffic light. after that squeeze inbetween her car and another car and realised she was my sec sch classmate. :cheeky:

Today while riding to school, I close throttle, slow down and waved a "L" plate learner driver to go ahead and cut lane, when he/she signalled. The instructor see already very happy and waved thank you in return.

I think I must have inspiried others, because the grey van behind me also very patient, and the cars on my right, also give way to let the learner go. Very rare to see 3 lanes slow down to the same speed to let a learner driver go. Most to the time people just overtake quickly to get on with their way.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

past few days while riding, noticed the sky quite weird - the clouds are not black/ white/ grey. Instead it's brown. from afternoon til late evening..

the way home just now, PIE towards changi, saw a bmw and a white car (wrx? not sure) playing i cut you, you cut me game. both on lane 1, the car behind cut to lane 2, and cut back into lane 1 infront of the other car. there was once the white car went lanes 1>2>3>2>1 to cut the bmw. the process repeats with each car taking turns to cut each other. the road was not very clear at ard 830pm and they were cutting each other quite quickly. i saw them do that a few times before my exit to CTE.

Do you all notice that the bougainvillea flowers are blooming like crazy on the sides of the roads, medians and overhead bridges? Brightly coloured flowers of purple, reds and whites?

When the weather gets hot and dry... they explode into blossoming mania.

Other than that.... riding in the afternoon heat really sucks. :(

with all that circle line construction causing all that massive digging of craters and horrible patch up job, it's a dangerous ride esp when lanes merges, its kinda freaky. i can feel my rear tyre a lil sliding and adding to the problem is how metal plating and sand can be quite slippery as well. so many times, i came across parts of the road & even bends strewn with sand/debris.

with morning & evening peak hrs, one can imagine how the traffic build up is worse than b4. these days i go to office late and leave office slightly later. getting stuck in the jam is a waste of time!

best choice will be to siam far far away.

PIE towards Changi, exit upper serangoon rd is one such junction. the bends are sharp that hardly any cars will stick to their lane while turning, making it much dangerous to lane split.

i asked my dad on that, apparently the previous owner made the clutch super sensitive - the moment let go left hand it'll stall - so gotta squeeze throttle first..

so he was kidding along with me "fwa, this bike so good to ride u cannot handle?" really cannot compare to veteran biker.. :faint:
