I know this sounds random but what i think is that young, rich kids who would be driving their parents' Merc and Beemers(or any drivers of such cars) should be given a full month of riding on a small bike in sg expressways to get the feel of what it is being a motorcyclist. The riding world would be a much better place like this,IMO..

 

On a slightly different node, a friend of mine says he never drives without having coins in his car. For what? For idiots who tailgate him; when he sees tailgaters he will chuck a few coins towards the rear (on the outside of course) and crack the tailgaters' windscreen. Think this can be used for bikers as well??

 

I pray that if someone does that to a biker he/she is wearing a fullface helmet with visor down.

 

Anyway, before accusing someone of tailgating, make sure we're not roadhogging in the first place.

Riding home from gym today and its wet. I'm cruising, exiting KPE into the turn of towards sengkang. This idiot Kia Forte comes dashing from behind on the extreme left lane and tries to overtake a slower 2B bike and cuts into my 2nd lane. While CORNERING!!! The road is alread farking wet and you die die must overtake the 2B bike and inch into my lane...again i must emphasize WHILE CORNERING. Horn you once still not enough, blast my horn and you even got the cheek to cut back into the left lane almost hitting the 2B bike. Why???

 

Story doesn't end here. That idiot decides to tail me like a little b!tch and stops behind me at every traffic light. Did i mention the lane on the left and right is free of vehicles? If you've got balls you could've stopped beside me and scream and vent your anger. Nooo you still tail me all the way to my neighborhood. But here's the interesting thing; i decided to go on a long detour and the climax of the story - Bikes can lane split; you CAN'T! I was hoping you would have followed me alllll the way to the police post and see if you've got any decent sized balls to do whatever it is you were planning to do.

 

Muthafcuker deserves every finger and toes thrown at him.

if i were you.. i would have ride as slow as possible when he started tailgating me.. at least i will be safer. when i say ride as slow as possible i don't mean jam brake ,i mean just slow down or move off slowly, so he will get frustrated and hopefully stop tailgating

Well, i did the exact opposite and tried to blast away from him (wanna go home already ler) but thanks to our unique traffic situation, there's a junction eery 100m. Even with 600cc supersports i can't get rid of him.

A car came right from the incoming traffic, taxi jam brake almost crash right into it... *guess the taxi driver fail to judge the speed & distance of the vehicle. God bless...

taxi drivers are such menaces! I had many near misses while driving. But luckily, to date, I've been accident free.

 

I remember taking a sonata cab once. The driver sped through a hump and scraped the undercarriage. Saw sparks coming from the undercarriage.

 

Needless to say, I lodged a complaint and got a standard template reply.

actually nowadays, a lot of drivers sux when it comes to judging speed and distance. they love to turn out of their minor road and force others to e-brake or land themselves in the situation where they have to ebrake to avoid crashing into something

everytime i take a cab, i'll sit in front otherwise i'll get motion sickness.

 

It should be sparks (could be wrong??), as it was rather faint and sparse and it happened at night. It's hard to explain the series of events that led to me seeing that happening. Saw it from the side view mirror.

 

But definitely scrapped the undercarriage.
