Yesterday while riding on the way back home along Sembawang road, I felt something hit me on my left knee, then suddenly... Very pain!!!!

There is a burning senstation, and it gets hotter wthin a few seconds!

I look down, see nothing. Use hand to brush against the knee, also nothing, then at the traffic light, I open my visor and lift up my knee nearer to my face then saw something like a very small thorn on the skin!

Then realised must have been a bee sting! Just now must have collided with a bee! Quickly pluck it out before the lights changed, then pressed out as much blood as I can, but when I reached home, the knee already swollen and got a bit of blue black because of all the squeezing. :(

What a day, ride on open road also can get stung by bee. :(

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

Today while dreaming....

I rode to Haytai with my ex-classmate but went exploring alone, while my buddy stayed in the hotel to rest.

Venturing out of Haytai into the outskirts, it rained, then when I was about to ride across a junction onto the main road, I saw a pick up trying to overtake, but because of the road condition, it couldn't and had to slow down. When it jam brake, it suddenly went into a spin! Luckily I haven't went out!

But the poor pick-up spun onto the grass at the side of the road..... Siiii Kaaa Leeee..... the grass concealed a muddy pit and the pick up started sinking! The uncle in the pick-up open the door, quickly crawled out and called his son using his HP! The car behind also stopped and someone came out to help. I crossed the junction, but found the pick up sluggish, so I used my pedals to pedal!

Can't remember when my bike got install bicycle pedals one!

While exploring, I somehow wandered into a small town at the border between Malaysia and Thailand. At the 4 corners of the town are 4 giantic mosques!

The mosques "Onions" were strangely white and made out of plaster of paris and painted with strips of white and pink.

Strange.... never read of a town with 4 mosques, so I searched my bag for my GPS to find out my location. Then when I was opening my bag to get my GPS to determine my position, I saw my car parked besides me and opened the door to use the ciggy charger then sme guy opened the driver seat door and drove it away with me still inside, so I asked him why he is driving my car, and he apologised, and said he mistaken it for the car he rented which was the same model.

Damn! So I got him to drive me back to my bike, and wondered how to get both my car and bike back to Singapore.

And that's when I woke up.

Hope you are ok. I was once hit by a flying bird on the chest. Thankfully the bird was ok.

That means not riding fast enough to smash the bee to oblivion huhuhu, almost run into low flying bird before though.

Think it's batt is flat, so ride down to Unique and changed a new batt..

Few days later, want to turn on my bike, dont have netural light again.. Like ride awhile den got batt liao, after awhile no netural light again..

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Must overhaul the neutral light

Make sure use the correct bulb with the right size, wattage and voltage.

Can use internet should be pretty ok. Call your insurance company via the number on your certificate, they are the better ones to assist you.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

I left my key at my bike then went to NTUC for some shopping. While waiting in the long queue to pay for my goods it then dawned on me that i didn't have my bike key.

And the best part is i was debating with myself for a good 3 mins- "Should i just drop the stuffs and get my key, or wait in line to pay for my goods?".

I waited to pay for my goods then ran down to my bike. Thankfully the key was still there.

If its yours it's yours they always say.

Btw guys allow me to go back to the insurance question. If we get into accident( I don't wish anyone of us riders would but IF) and you're not really injured that badly, will you claim the other party's insurance or will u rather do private settlement?

For this question these are the circumstance:

- you are in the right

- you are slightly injured(still can walk but bruised)

-bike also slightly damaged(cosmetic damages)

-it's claiming against a company vehicle

Again the question, private or claim?

Ride safe people!!

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

If not much injuries and still conscious I would opt for the private settlement provided that the other party agrees. This saves time for both. Unfortunately very seldom the other party wants to admit its their fault. And they will always try to come up with stories in their favour. This is where eyewitnesses come into the picture. Unforetunately like mine I was unconscious so the other party can create a story in his favour and sadly there were no eyewitnesses.
