Been controlling myself not to post for these few weeks...guess me heart still soften when I see my riding buddies is vex. Sorry could not join you for the ride...you knwo my situation...

 

FNO, FIFO, is not restricted to just bigger cc bikes.

even if you ride a puny Fino.

 

It also doesnt matter where you stay & coming from.

Cos, FNO, is all abt the company.

so, if anyone feels that there's alternatives other than the usual, please, go ahead & initiate.

this is a free for all thread afterall.

 

but, as an organiser, im obliged to mk sure everyone that's coming with me to go & return safe & sound.

therefore, ive my terms.

but, its just words.

Safety for me, cannot be compromised, will always be my top priority.

& will always ride to the minimum cc's limit.

 

nowadays, as per norm, we'll always see:

 

"I cannot ride faster than 100-120km/h(TA meter)"

"Im not sure if can come/make it"

"My passport left N mths, can go?"

"I just change bike, wana try it out later"

 

these will always be the usual postings.

 

the origin of FNO doesnt.

can come, come.

cannot come, dont come.

No pending.

No latecomers(unless informed beforehand)

No uber last min surprise riders

bcos, i say again, this is where i belong.

& no, i dont look down on whoever's riding a TA(or smaller cc) & wants to join me, bcos i know, I was a 2B rider.

 

sadly, that has not been the case nowadays.

 

those pioneers hv upgraded, may nt be ard here or seldom comes in.

some prefer not to initiate, which i understand that there's the liability to come along.

so, in order to keep this thread going, the usual suspect(s) would have to alter after alter the terms, just to suit to the mass.

PK, afterall, is a stepping stone for newbies.

& PK, will never become an organisation or club, purely bcos no one is willingly to sacrifice to volunteer, 24/7 i mean, and not everyone will agree, or can afford to pay for membership.

Ben, no one is ever ready. Its the heart that makes you ready. I dont believe a TA150 cannot lead a group for FNO. The seniors if they are joining too will give a helping hand. Just ask. You need to start somewhere. I lead a group to FNO on my TA200 before while the organise 'fly' away on the second link. By the time the FZ6 is out, are you sure you will still be here? Can you endure 90km/hr on NSH?

 

With reference from your post in Chit Chat... No doubt we now riding big bikes. But when there are the needs, we will be slow for the smallest cc bikes in the group. If I want to fly on NSH for my trip, I will limit the CC of bikes going and will definately not post in PK. End of the day, my intention when I organise trip for PK is to make sure everyone who join will enjoy the destination, journey and companys. No doubt it will be very stressful for organise and not making any $$$ out of it but also open to people talking **** after the trip. But when you look back at the pictures taken, the memory and smile will come back. I am not a stranger of negative comments for my trips. I got laugh at for riding too slow because I am bring a group of Phantoms. I got screwed for failure to find the destination and hollanding a few times. I got questioned by why did I choose the specific route. I got questioned by the exchanged rates being charged and many many others..... But end of the day, I still comes back here....because my riding buddies are here....minus those low-life idiots............

I am glad that you are better now. There are always different ways to see a problem. Everyone has it, its just how you see it. Like I have share with you my problems at work, and how I am facing it now.

 

My rear is always available for a frd. Gfs and wives can just leave you when you are down but true frds will stick by you no matter who and where you are. Personally experience that.

I really like to see those ppl who gave negatives comments on my trips to come out and organise a trip for the PKs. Not those local rides or somewhere less than 30 mins from GP esso. But I know those willl just hide behind their computer and wait for others to org so they can have a hassle free trip.

Anyway.... sept....durian trip planning in process...will be a sun so try to come with missus.... by invitation only.... you help ask racingter for durian plantation contacts and POI can?

All foriegn vehicles are no longer able to purchase Ron 95 fuel product, Ron 97 is only allowed with no fuel tanking restriction...
