Yes, better to pay more for PSB stix or PAY EVEN MORE for your own loss.

one of my collegues told me a story bout during his hell-raising days..was a member of O*****(not gonna mention the name)...had a riding session one nite...one of his friends was wearing FF helmet...then he buang while cornering..didn't seem too bad..but he couldn't get up and was not moving at all...they call ambulance..

 

when the paramedic finally removed his FF...the FF broke into 2 (my collegue told me that the crack was right at the jaw area)..den they realise the guy was dead when the paramedic checked his pulse..

 

after autopsy..was told that he died on the spot coz his jaw broke and somehow his windpipe crushed..

 

not putting anyone off here...was reading this thread when my friend's story popped into my brain..so juz to share with u fellow bro and sis..

 

moral of the story? Get a good helmet, albeit costly, coz there's no price to ur life...

off topic a bit... not only FF... good riding protection like gloves and at least a mesh jacket with CE armour...

agreed.. please do not be shy to wear wadeva protection you think worth the risk.. ultimately, when you fall... its ur skin against the tarmac... not those smart asses that make sneering remarks about 2b wearing ff..

 

my ff saved my head once during an accident.. so i guess it works for me..

always get back to basics...normal ff, jeans, covered shoes and a simple pair of gloves would do fine for road riding.. Cheers everyone! have a safe ride!

Ya, that time i saw i gal riding a Lx150 wearing an Arai FF then i find her quite cool man... I also saw a 125z wearing a FF and armour jacket and find it a bit over, but it's ok. If i got the money i will also buy and wear.
