my condolences to the duc rider. there can b lots of speculations in what could or could not be avoided. to put myself in tt situation, i tend to have a bad habit of letting my guard down frm 110% to 60% aft crossing the checked flag. the duc rider may hav jus done the same, it only takes secs when on full-on throttle passing the flag to reach the 1st bridge. seeing some1 slowing down so much aft passing the flag is not something normal u will see, or for a fact he may not even see it until the very last min. in any case, doing a stoppie on track is really stupid n inconsiderate. for all the track junkies sake i really hope this guy wont show up in any track ever again. and for the duc rider, REST IN PEACE.

The body should be back roughly around noon time tomorrow. We will be going over in the night at about 9 - 10pm. But for those who wants to go down early, I think after 5pm would be a good time. So that the family will have some time to prepare.

Think it's about time PG or someone experience conduct safety briefing before letting any riders on the track,especially on trackdays. My experience with my car club is, before anyone is allowed on the track, they will be brief all safety rules etc,weather he's a experience or newbie, or if he's heard it a 100 times! For newbie, they have a 'sticker' paste behind to tell others he's new. Also, all newbies will go out first for orientations for a few laps by someone experience.

Seeing that he is such a good chap, it's very very unfortunate for that freak accident to occur. That was a 5-lap race, not a stunt-parking-lot. What in good heavens was that Gixxer guy thinking?

Sorry for the change of plans. The family members have decided to stick to the original plan. The funeral will be held on the 24 Dec and will be sending off on 25 Dec morning.

Its because for chinese customs, they usually dont hold the wake for the younger generation or someone who has passed away 'horribly' for more than 1 day...
