rachel... stay strong... me and my friends were glad and sad at the same time when we were there... i just regretted i didn't have more time on the tracks wid him as i was in the army... but i would definitely remember the times we were there, and i wouldn't forget the day we went down to buy our pg track pictures... both of us was choosing and choosing dunno which one to take... finally chose it... keep those pictures well... keep it in ur heart... i will always remember him. his passion... his burning passion during the last track day... was completely different from the many times i went to track wid him.. i would never forget marcus... again i would wanna say.. stay strong rachel...

Though I do not know Marcus and you personally, this incident has greatly sadden my heart. My wife and I would like to extend our condolences to you from the bottom of our hearts. Like you said, it's not easy to forgive, but for the moment, remain strong and know that he's made the transition to a better place.

Know that he lived a fulfilling life and that is what matters. Having the heart to live his dreams is so much more admirable than those who squanders life's opportunities away.

He will be remembered.

Anyway, like what Yoda say, learn to let go of everything you fear to lose. Of course, its easy to quote but never easy to do it. I lost someone very dear to me as well before so I do know what it feels like. Yep, time will heal all wounds. I dun know about you (sunflower) but all those words of condolences didn't help me much. A big part of it got to come from yourself.

 

I guess he gave you this nick for some reason only you and he know. For me, I tot you were like a sun to him, a flower, showering him with all the love and light he needs. You have to be strong to do that right. So stay strong. You are doing well, keep it up.

Rachel, stay strong. I was shocked to hear the news of Marc's passing away when I returned from the US last week. I met him at the track last year and chatted with him briefly. He was a friendly, humble man. I am sure he will be watching over you and your family from heaven.
