thot yr bike is stolen?

maybe he bought another bike?

anyway, if you use a side stand, your bike would lean towards the left after you park. thus advise is to park on the more right side of the lot.

i have bought a 2nd hand bike but my heart still aches for my first baby...

neway, not about how to park, but how do you ride into the slot. I realli envy some guys that just turn nicely into the slots, no need to adjust at all.

Just do some "Zeroing"

First do an estimation at the Bike Park

Eg: Your bike must be perpendicular to the other bikes, and must be just out of side kick range from the other bikes + Your number plate must be in line with the left handle bar of the bike you are going to park beside.

Next reverse into the lot and measure how much big your turning radius is and from there +/- the starting point where you park.

Eg: After first try the bike too near the left, you must change the distance to your rear number plate now in line with the white line left of the bike you are going to park before start to reverse in. But distance from other bikes no change.

After some adjustment, you will know the allowance to fit your bike's turning radius, and be able to turn siew siew into the lot every time.

I always park with my bike facing outwards. Means juz get on can move off le. What i do when i park is that i will look back and slowly paddle back with my feet.

Actually.. also depends on where u're parking. Some places the lots are bigger than other places. Eg. got one mscp at tampines area, the lot quite big, whereas the carpark at Civil Service College is very small.. once got big bike, damn hard to park already.

True, there's a Harley at my area which needs to take up 2 lots!!

why dont you try to park in and out for like an hour? or everytime when you come home till you get a satisfied position? Then you would had achieved what you really wanted.

By the way I think There's no exact way to park a bike properly and I dont see the need to come out with all sorts of bike parking theories, as this can be endless. Who knows? The next person might tell you to use y = 2x² + 3a, come out with DIY parking sensors for bikes or all sorts of nonsense to measure how to park your bike. Just try out till you get it right good luck man, i usually go straight into the parking lot and wrap up.

park more towards the right if yr bike got sidestand, otherwise just practice and practice with a bicycle. Easier for u.

think it's more like knowing ur bike, if u know ur bike like ur own body, u could blind-fold n walk. thus it more practice n knowing how long is ur bike n where the 2 wheel go n ur angle.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

seriously speaking, some parking lots at some bike parks are so narrow. if you slot your ride in between to bikes... got problem dismounting your ride... sigh.

some other bike parks are more generous with their space. these are a joy to park.

Why don't u try using e markings on e ground to make ur alignment when parking.. That's what i usually do.. Wouldn't say a perfect parking, more to a presentable one..:D

Wonder y my ST11 dun look as good as my SV...

most of the time i will try to go butt in.. so its easier to come out.. just look behind then slowly paddle into the lot with your tyre near to your right..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

POWERSLIDE into the lot! :cheeky:

okay serious talk, understand your bike's length. For mine its a cruiser so longer wheel base etc so its like parking a lorry compared to a car(normal bike).Wider turning or normal turning up to you.

Kups are darn easy to park I'd say :thumb: as someone mentioned. As most are using side stands, so park slightly off centre to the right because of bike's tilting angle.
