bros out there... i need your comments on this... just read the thread on racing cdi... was wondering whether is it legal or not for inspection? also does it affect the engine life and FC? your comments pls... bros who has the racing cdi, wat are your views?

for me changing cdi frm aft market parts shop ammm.....sure your bike will go fast or cn drag better , but that will drain te life out off your engine rit.

 

our cub is made for commut not for race...thats y ty got race engine...change engine aft race or just change bike .

 

think bout it hw many big bikes u heard gone for overhull(scrap 1s dont say)....

how many small c.c. bikes gone for overhull ? too many

 

yes change cdi 4 1st few mths ok, lucky 1s few yrs tn prob starts rit ....

 

y not try change gearing (sprocket) , spark plug .

 

wn 2 go faster change 2 big CC bikes...only my 2 cents.....CHEERS!!and happy riding...

Running in bikes can pillion ppl? For example, today take out bike n tomoro pillion? Can we? Does it affect d bike or d tyres? Ermm.. any1 knows? And d manual says 110kg max allowed.. if exceed by around 5kg or wat, then wat happens eh?

Just bought myself a Sparky.. Not quite used to the gear shifting style.. Those riding sport bikes last time will know what i mean.. So i'm thinkin is it possible for me to change the the gear shifting thing to the same as those sport bike?

The bike frame will break into two and e engine will explode!!

 

Basically no prob one lah. That max weight is a guide for your rear shock. If you keep overloading it, it will become soft faster only. Otherwise, its perfectly fine to pillion during run in or whenever.

bro next week there is a DIY session for EO and sparkplug change... there isnt a standard on wat EO to change it depends on individual... so to personal preference... semi or fully...

actually i dun think likewise... during running in its will b best not to pillion ppl... as u know if ur bike comes with rpm meter mayb still not so bad... cos u can control ur bike using RPM guage... but without dat den u got guage using speed and throttle control for our case... simple example travelling alone at speed 60 rpm only 5, with pillion it could b 7-8 but same speed...

uncle tp told me not an issue abt sticker.. as long as the size meet the requirements.. cos my front sticker v.small and i got stop.. and guess what.. they take out a ruler and measure the font size.. and say mine v.small give me the cm of mine and the required size also.. LL pay the $70 fine.. hais..

hmm....i doubt so. im not sure. but instead, im sure u can change it to all upshift instead of downshift. my friend did it on his spark. the difference is tt neutral is not between gear 1 and 2. but at least u can upshift instead of down

i was a normal bike rider(1,N,2,3,4,5,6) until i rode a spark(n,1,2,3,4).. took me 2days to get use to it =)

watever it is.. u gonna change ur gear shifting to the bike preference lo..

in the mean time u jus ride slowly la... have the feel of the gear shifting..

oni den if u wanna change to a racing footrest den u change lor... its either N,1,2,3,4 all down or all up... but take note if u change the gear shifting to all up den suddenly u wanna change it to all down den it might cost a lot of $$ money for u la.. unless u don mind the $$ spent on ur bike den...
