Kawasaki KRR150 Riders

hello there krr riders...i'm getting my krr some time next week....was wondering which tyres to use....the last i knew...was many yrs ago...for small bikes....we were using the TT900 or the GPR70....are these 2 tyres still avail? any more recent recommendations? I'm looking at good grip...anyone can offer some advise?

I'm not pro..But I agree with YEN96..Your valve is most likely jammed..Time to scoop it out and spread it on bread..

 

ah hah! cnfm liao valve jammed! ur valve is open and it cant return to its normal position which is closed.. thats why u got no power at low rpm. its common for KR to get a jammed valve even thou u juz got it serviced!

 

 

yeah.. that's the most likely diagnosis..

when you rev high, u opened up your power valve..

it didnt close back properly though..

try riding n opening it up again..

clear the carbon etc..

yo pple..by the way, mr biol got into an accident ytd..luckily he's ok n just suffered minor injuries & currently in the process of recovering..let's pray for a fast recovery for our brudda here k dudes..

TT900 still available.. never seen GPR70 before. People mainly use TT900 for daily usage and battlax bt90 for grip.. u can ask our tire specialist here, aka Sparker

i ask some people on the road.. they say cabrator...

they say need to clean liaoz... is there a possiblilty of spark plug or exhast pipe not "tong" caz my smoke is less until like siao... It used to be "quite" alot of smoke...

Could also be your carb..Maybe the float isn't workin?

For everyday use or just track? I've seen a KR with slick tyres..And I don;t think there's anymore of the GPR70..

I'm actually thinking of using it for road with the occasional track...i'm more familiar with tyres for bigger bikes as i never really used small bikes on track before..this would be my first...experimenting...hmm...the GPR70 is quite old liao..from the days of the NSR250...great tyre for small bikes...i used the BT 090 for my old hurricane...din know that it can be used for smaller bike...will look into that....thanks for the help...!

bike working fine again... It's just the my valve is jammed and FC increases alot!! eaten into my reserve tank unknowingly.. just my luck... no fuel.. thus can't engine on... thanks for all the replies.. ^_^

I NOT RACER LAR!! i think the road oily.. thats why lost traction and felt like freewheeling suddenly bang the railing..got 1 navy regular from his block come down help me..help me move my bike and called for tow. he say if TP come sure kena jialat jialat..nice guy..

actually can't... valve jammed thus unable to close back.. have to loosen the screws... den the valve works back alright... "was being" told by a mechi that I have change my barrings,flush coolent,change engine cool and casket to ensure it will not happen again...

 

Anyone knows?? Is it true?? estimated price for this is $1xx
