I think when people buy KRR, most people, especially people like me, are financially constrained. So our price range would be like.. 3K plus otr? Those who can afford to fork out more may go for mito or rs125? Of course it doesn't apply to everyone but this is the general sense I get.

Eh, about the spending more to get a better condition machine, I don't really think so leh. I think is heng suay one. There are people out there who do try to chop newbies like me. Esp that I'm a girl, if I go to motodiam, I think some of them will ask me to overhaul my bike for nothing. ("xiao mei mei, your bike jialat until cannot jialat ar, must overhaul now otherwise later you ride out piston jam very dangerous de wor.") Haha. When I was looking for my ride, I thought it would be safer to get a lower than average priced one. So that if I'm suay to get one that needs major fixing, at least I see to it myself and be ensured that it's fixed up proper. Rather to pay more for a (supposedly) good condition one only to discover later on that I need to fork out even more $ to fix it.

Guys thanks for the outing on friday & also for the fixes! appreciate it alot! however some of you who came down yesterday to help me you guys know, my bike had some wiring problems, now it's totally unsafe to ride..

 

Half way riding back yesterday engine died along dover, put to Neutral & started again, engaged 1st gear moved off a lil then engine stalled, started e bike again & moved off till e 1st singapore poly bus stop, rpm keeps going up to about 5 or 6 in 1st gear, keeps jerking alot! Got my friend to come escort me back home.

 

When I got back to my car park i tried going round & it was fine, however i don't think it's safe or reliable at the moment till i get those fixes u guys mentioned.. Haiz.. jiaaa lattt uhhhh!!!!!

Anyways, I think it high time you bring your bike to shop to check it out man. The diagnostic we have came up with was probably a mere estimation to the knowledge we are equipped with. But irregardless, Charlie had given you a rough idea of what might be wrong with your bike. So if your planning to go to bike shop to repair, do becareful not to be chop by them. Which in any case, you can also call up anyone from here to follow you to bike shop or even introduce you one. I believe many of them has many good recommendation to follow up. (:

I personally think it's quite a waste of money buying a good bike for 2B. Rephrase, sorry, like a first hand or spend way over 5k odd on a 2b. You never know what will happen in a year's time. I have a friend who bought a CBR150 first hand, sum amounted 8k+ OTR. A year later, he planning to upgrade. But he cant sell his CBR150 for that same price. He's now selling on forum, but even with depreciation price of 5K+, he's already having a hard time letting it go. So do consider wisely what you want, and plan ahead.

 

And I've to thank a lot of people in this forum for guiding me on a lot of matters. Some of them like disappear from the forum liao. Makes me feel like disappearing too. Lol.

hello guys. been riding a kr for only about 6 months? anyway taht day my kr fell on its left, not that hard. it was stationary before it fell. now when i handle lock my bike, the left handle can turn until touch my left tank. can you guys advise me on what to change? cause i dont wanna get ketuk by mechs.
