Guys. Just now at TPE to SLE towards woodlands, i wack bike 150km/h with pillion. Slow down at times and then pick up same speed again. Bike didnt rev alot quite some time. Then reaching wlds ave 2, my bike suddenly lost of power. Then my Endcan sound so bassy. i experience it before, 1st was my valve jam. I let it cool down and it turn to normal back. 2nd was my header gasket worn. Sound more bassy and weird. Worse than PGM. Now im confuse, whats my bike problem. Because when i experience valve jam the other time, i didnt go for any servicing .Just spray wd40. Yeaah anyone knows ? and how to repair the valve jam ?

 

1) remember to check your fuel EVERY 50km... EVEN IF IT'S FULL TANK...

2) go to any nearest bike shop and ask them to clean your valve..

3) you can come to either AMK during office hours tml or my hse (aljunied area) this evening if you wan to

 

go COURT buy sofa,TV,or.......

clutch level? clutch plates?

level = abit ex

plates = not ex at all.. unless you are saying totally 6 plates = 6 x $25 den abit ex..

because valve jam will really DRINK petrol.. in huge gulps.. example.. I used to have 280km / full tank.. valve jam become 80km/full tank.. I last heard is 50km/full tank.. so you better check it first.. open and see..

 

can you rev above 80km/h? If cannot, confirm valve jam..

I experienced this b4. I dunno but for KR once u whack your bike then u slow down, your endcan will sound bassy and u feel like your bike lose power. Its normal I think. Give it a rest and your bike will continue like normal. I was also alarmed the first bike my KR had this side effect. Den I guess its normal.

 

Abt the second problem, I'm not so sure. Why don't you save up like SGD$100, go MY and full service?

 

yesterday i go to buy 2T oil at Shell petrol station... then i found out got 1L and 0.5L... that day the bro mention the price is base on 0.5L or 1L?

at malaysia got 1 brand call Hi-Rev which is here no mention about.. izzit good?

 

That bro mentioned 1L. 1L generally cost cheaper than 0.5L. So get the 1L one. And all petrol station sell slightly expensive 2T. For cheaper 2T, go lim ah boy @ kelantan lane. Very cheap 2T.

 

Adding on to this, I've ever heard this rumor about Ah Boy 2T putting water or whatsoever inside the 2T they sell. So far I used their 2T for 3 years with no side effect.

I tried to rev yrst but liks stuck2 liao. Can go and 80km/h like that. Yeah aniway service valve hw much lei? I did once arnd 35 dollars. And and anyone service suspension bfore? Or need to get new one? Hw much liao...

My fc used to be 15km/l. After some tuning at Planet, it improved to 18.5-22km/l depending on how I ride.

My suspension nt that nice alrdy. When i corner at especially at the strips libe, bike tend to be unstable. And also on uneven surface. Futhermore i use this bike almost 3 years liao. Fork and suspension is factor that you might wanna take a look for smooth corner n riding. .

Usually mods will affect your fuel consumption. Example u rebore the block, the rate of fuel going in is much more but with the right settings, it can mean more power = more faster. Side effect: Fuel consume more.

1. Valve jam occurs when u don't whack ur bike once in a while. (meaning: u travel slow n dun whack and let the dried oil and carbon clog up your valve) Whacking your bike once in a while will "blow" the carbon stucked in your valve away.

 

2. Full service means taking out your valve, piston, block, carburetor and washing it with petrol. These parts are always clogged up with carbon after a long time. Price: RM80(without gasket).

 

3. What's gasket? Gasket is like a sealant between two metal parts to prevent oil leaking out from the gaps between the two metal parts.
