Don't be discouraged...we can't always expect all people to be "always on the ball". we all have our lives ( work, family...etc ). i can see from the posts here that some of the experienced guys like you are very helpful. Just ask yourself if YOU ENJOY doing it. If YOU are still passionate about KR, do not let others affect you. If however, you are busy with other things or you have lost interest, then you have every right to walk away. it is all up to you.

 

i am struggling with my work problems right now but if i have the time i will try to come & meet up with you guys & learn from the old birds. the reason is i love bikes too & although i am still new to kr, i really loved this bike!

As i myself i want to do the single sit which the back can open and close and i also see alot of people want to do the sit,I went to jb yesterday.I ask with this mechanic name peter.Heres the detail he told me. The sit itself will cost you 150 due to the perfect size of moulding!.What he mean is this.He will measure every angle and every length of the bike so it will fit nicely.But you have to put the bike at his shop for a week.(DEPENDS ON HOW FAST HE CAN MEASURE THE RIGHT LENGTH).The 1 week also include of paint work.Due to my simple colour of only balck,The total price of moulding and paintwork is only 280 ringgit.But keep this in mind.He is using your original seat and mould it back again.(But you can buy the ready mould SINGLE SEAT at Ah Boy which is also 150 ringgit,But it does not include the paintwork and fixing and also the pillion seat at Ah boy is the one which you cant open). So the price of 280 ringgit include the moulding using your original seat,paint work of one colour fixing and a very simple light.If you want to have the r6 kind of light of any other design you have to buy it yourself.Its hard to type out the design of his light.But i can assure it does not sound intresting.So yahhh! Thats the detail of the SINGLE SEAT WITH THE PILLION SEAT CAN BE OPEN TO MAKE IT DOUBLE AGAIN.(Sorry for my bad english)Hahaha

Please dunt! Yes it sound loud enough till you can wake up the whole block when your bike pass by.But it also attract our big brother on the road.I also last time use chamber.Kena stop with TP.he nearly fine me.But luckly my original pipe is at jb cause must fix back the pipe due to lobang/hole at the stomach.Want to buy new one no money,So the workshop give me the chamber pipe for a mean time.Luckly the tp is understanding and i also told him im schooling.Then the next day i quickly when up to jb again and ask him to replace the chamber with a stock pipe while waiting for my pipe.Hahaha.So better dunt.Unless you have that cash to donate to traffic police

I think its all personal choice, anyway some chamber pipes sounds softer than stock pipe unless u whack full rpm

Hard to change gear could be becoz of bitting point too near, clutch plate wear out or ur gear shifter bearing inside the engine alrdy worn out.

 

As for rear susp. best is to get a new original one.

 

 

 

U wont know the condition till u open up the engine.

 

Since u r gonna be a new rider, no matter how gd a tire u use. If u cant handle the bike properly, u will still buang. N neon n speedometer?? I dont see the need to do that.. But ya 5k shuld be enugh.

next, got this mechanic i always do at amk he selling his kr ft plate at 800 but coe use till this 6 aug. insurance must ssettle ownself.

 

so i'm still thinking which one is best. wat u guys think? should i go survey more shops? any shops to reccomend? n, lastly u got any shops or anyone who can do insurance cheap ones? like cheat code. cos last time my bike shop that i bought they do cheat code. supposed to be ard 1.2k but the shop quote for me 570 only. very good right..
