bro.. dunno why.. but i prefer my tyres at 35 front, 41 behind.. lolx.. :p

walau-hei, 31 front & 33 behind i maybe can "tolerate" but 35 front & 41 behind? i "got eyes no recognise Mt. Tai" again :(, you actually very "garang" like racer leh, but FC must be very good & your acceleration must be like "fighter jet" lolx ! you must be super fast then, 32 behind i really feel "shiok" on dry roads but dread to think of it on wet rainy days. but 41 ??? wow! i feel like "sua-ku" ( mountain tortoise" ).

still very sian about my present fc :(

Edit: as a side topic, what tyre pressure do you guys use ?

lol.. depending on yourself bro..

1) scrap, but take out all the parts at your choice of bike shop

2) renew 5 years, dun do anything major from now onwards and take it as transport bike..

3) renew 10 years, still your baby.. anything also ok.. :p

for mine.. renew another 10 years.. whahaha...

see my reply to gutripper above, maybe it is a "rider" problem again hahaha...

mine are 90/80 front ( so same ) but my rear is 110/70 so will 10mm make such a big difference? i feel the rear flying off at speed when 32 ( 140km/h stock speedo at only 8k rpm! not to mention the acceleration ). emergency jam rear-brake test the rear tyre wobble a bit but still ok, so i guess even 33 might be ok for me but i still think a bit risky in emergencies.

36 front means your front is very hard to turn in "slow" sharp corners ( fast long curves should be ok ) or your arms must be very strong. maybe it is time for me to go gym already to train my arms. :(

no offence ( you should know the way i talk is like that by now :p ) if your FC is only 18 ( less than S4 leh, bro ) & if there is nothing wrong with your bike, maybe it is due to your "aggressive racing" riding style. looks like you are "pretending" to be "old man" only, you must be 1 "hell rider" lah! lol :p

edit: sorry i forgot, could also be due to your box, your heavier weight ( but i am not "thin & light" either at 75kg ) & maybe you often got pillion which i don't have. edit: some more your bigger rear tyre could have some effect.just maybe due to these other reasons also.

33 is ok for e-braking. Its more dependent on your technique of braking, controlling the bike and your brakes itself. I got e-brake with different pressures before. Pretty much the same.

Try to pump in more air and see your fc.

Anyway, I have the same case as you last time. My fc drop till 20km/litre. I tried:

1. Pump tyres 230kpa each.

2. Service carburator and change smaller jetting than stock

3. Full service

Nothing work because my block is old and got minor scratches. So compression gone. So I changed block and piston.($650) total. FC shoot up to 28-34km/litre. My advice is maybe u try full service(to see if your block is old and got scratches) or piston ring wear out(piston ring have an impact on fc when I read online). During full service, also ask them change to stock setting if your's is not stock. (Main 270 pilot 22.5). After full service, see if your FC improved. If never improve, standby $650, contact me we go change block and piston. Hahaha.
