actually, the more u mod, the better fc u get.. takes lesser petrol and much lesser effort to get the same power compared to full stock. its how u control ur throttle.. of cuz, once u mod 90% ppl backside itchy sure want to open.. thats when u see the sharp drop on ur fuel gauge..

hey fellows.am modifying my bike. im thinking of installing a keihin pwk 28mm carb to my krr. any ideas on what jetting to start of with. my bikes is totally stock. and i intend to start the mods with the carbs then later move on to the others.

 

My brother,your stock KRR can reach up to 195kmph. If u really need to go any faster,u must change a few things and not only carb as a start up.However,to answer your question,try Fuel jet 300 and Air Jet 27.7. This will give your bike the extra roar and power but it will drain your fuel.

Brother,once again,I rather you stick to your stock carb and enjoy your 195kmph which a stock KRR can shoot. Any higher,it will never balance between performance and FC.However,if u really into this mod,performance and FC,PM me. I teach u what to do step by step and its free of charge!

keep searchig at depot rd...

now i know that this koon motor is the motor shop at depot rd shift to red hill!

this the first shop i service my first RD125 in 1983

and i 4got wear helmet ride from that to bukit merah ctr thn from there ride back t depot rd again without helmet....

new blur sotong rider at that time!

nice father n son...

gd workmenship also...

dehfuhrer, u sure its 300 for main jet. keihin max got only 230 for main jet on its website. my standard jetting already is 135 and 38.

 

he mean 300 for stock carb!

nver try pwk28

i use 160/162 main 48 air in pwk 35 for stock engine krr..

b4 stock fc at that time is 260km/b4 reserve

after put pwk 35mm(sold liao)...FC..b4 reserve around,,,220-190km only:cry:just try

alot of shops there,just go every shop there,ask abt machine price,any hidden cost(agreement fee,transfer fee-BULLSHIT),interest rate if u paying installment,any early settlement fee

 

dun so anxious in buying,look at e used bike section here as well-a rough idea on e market price now

I stay at jln bt merah there. Anyway try Bt Merah Lane 2 & 3. Got a few krrs there.

any idea if racing footrest can pass inspection? anyone who send your kr for inspection personally passed?

 

 

i had a racing foot rest on my x1...and yes it did pass inspection..

the issue is the rear brake....stomp on it when the time to do it...yes STOMP..

 

BUT THE THE INSPECTOR PUT A REMARK..THAT I HAD THIS ON IN THE REPRORT..

recently wrapped a 2 stroker..a krr 150 with exhaust wrap...

and the result??

if you can hear it coming...but it does not sound like your normal krr...what a racket..

thats alexandra village u are referring too. the shops are ok ah. i have personally had experience with them but beware for hidden charges. btw i saw an fx krr for sale at new southern. he qouted me 1800.

Racing footrest can pass inspection. But sharp tail cannot.. If using sharp tail must give shop send for inspection.

 

Bro why not u send to bikeshop recommended by those pple here for inspection? That way, racing footrest, standard footrest or even no footrest also can pass.

If ur bike stock bike go inspection Urself. It's cheaper. If using sharp tail and stuff no choice go give bike shop do inspection other wise cannot pass. I heard bike shop near Bukit batok which is near to vivcom inspection center chrage affordable price.

 

thanks all passed inspection already, remove sharp tail and went myself for inspection. racing footrest i think depend on where u go, but i went to jtc inspection centre near yck mrt, no problem.

Yup, it affects significant all I can say.

 

Most KR you can find has COE like 3-5 years. Quite hard to find FBA-FBC plates at bikeshops. And definitely u have to pay more than 2-3k plus if u find one. Now that you have one, just renew the COE first. Then slowly do up the bike up. U renew COE 10 years when u want to sell back there's a value.

 

If u sell and buy another KR is still fine. But its quite hard to find a good condition KR. Most of these assholes mod their KR, try here try there. Once bike got a lot of problem, they sell away.

 

 

 

Yay very much agree. I think its the sprocket sizes. Lamshah should be using 15-37, gf one should be 15-39.

but my one like 15/38. but rpm7 is 120. does it make such a huge difference?

this is interesting, your idea very different from what i have heard from others here...please explain further...you got try before ? FC improves instead ? ( same rpm don't whack more & fc better but whack more, fc sinks? ) really interesting...:thumb:

 

anyway how is your ktm's fc ? i won't ask about power ( sure have power lah ) since it is 300cc, right? :cool:

long story cut short, u open lesser throttle to get the normal power, takes lesser time to get that power, consumption of cuz lesser.. but if u open same as when u open w stock stuffs, of cuz petrol eat more. my fc when i 1st got my bike, +-20 per L, my fc now about 23~25.. but during track session is about 18~19..

 

ktm fc? lols.. cc x2, fc /2.. tank almost same size, i hit reserve see meter 97km only.. +- the distance wheelied while trying to move off/change gear, max 100..
