this cap on the left is for coolant reservoir

topup whatever u need to into this cap

I recommend u to use gear oil as yr "engine oil".

I've personally tried Motul Transoil Expert before and sticked to it during my days while riding KRR.

I've ridden KRR for 2 years before i changed to my current ride, during that time, i've never used expensive 2T. i always go caltex and buy my 2T from there.

Or if i pass by Ah boy, then i'll grab some of the Esso Gold 2T which is relatively cheap from there.

yes, Motul 2T, those high graded ones may be good. But they are all very expensive, besides, u'r not going down the tracks often.. if u r, then motul 2T might be a good choice... if not i don see the reason why yr mech wants u to buy motul 2T?

I agree on the Motul Transoil expert! :thumb:

but wait...thought u have special setup in yr bike? so how was yr previous experience?

I don't really care about fuel consumption anymore. Afterall it's only a bloody single cylinder 150cc bike, there is a limit how bad it could be. If you can't look past the fuel consumption of a small fart, you can never progress into bigger bikes or cars. It reminds me of a friend of mine whom we always joke about. "Can afford to buy a Porsche but cannot afford the petrol as he's always complaining it's expensive." WTF??!!

My bike was never in stock condition (I bought second hand) from the very first day. It was a horrendously modified bike in which I took months to put it back to almost stock trim before I started my upgrading project. What special setup were you talking about?

Servicing the brake caliper will solve your problem 90% of the time.

he told me nowadays R2 are made in m'sia then it is more "thick" than mortul which is made im europe i guess...

but i still got almost full tank 2T ,can anyone tell me how long does it take to finish full tank of 2T :lovestruck:

1) Unless there is a confirmed different formulation, I do not see what is the difference between something that is made in Japan/USA/Europe and something made elsewhere (Unglamorous country). In fact, if the formulation is the same, the oil made in a "cheaper" country will also mean production costs are lower, meaning savings on the consumer end as well.

2) Bullsh1t about thicker oils. There are common methods of measurements (Example SAE) and these means that all oils, between different brands bearing SAE 10w/50 will adheres to the same rules and they are not thicker or thinner than another.

3) How long do you take to finish a packet of rice? It depends how hungy you are, how fast you swallow, how big your mouth is..... likewise your 2T. Cannot really answer you!

I think I know why you are running 18 inch rears. In Singapore, most of us here are riding the KRR150ZX while you must be riding either the KRR150Victor or the KRR150SSR. These come with a 18 inch rear.
