dun be over confident, i was over confident dats why my bike drop..

Still remembered my very first crash in vivid detail.

Day 14 on the road on my Rothmans colored HX135 taking a right bend.... (Rewind 12 hours before) I was watching an interesting video of the 500cc battle between Eddie Lawson & Wayne Rainey. Both had ridiculous engines that threatened to throw them off every time they turned up the throttle. To make things worse, it was raining heavily!

Fast forward back to seconds before the crash (My crash!). Thinking that those guys riding rockets and I'm not, thinking that those guys are riding in a heavy rain, mine's only starting to drizzle but what I haven't thought of was that those guys started RACING competitively at averagely 5 years old, they have rain tires fitted (Mine were bloody low grade road tires that would have skidded even on a dry day). sh*t followed up and I was brought back to earth. My confidence was shattered from that day on. The next 10-14 days, I never had the confidence again and fell at least 7 times during that period. My dad was the one who kept my spirits up all these time & told me not to give it up. After I had learnt the hard way (In that one bloody month), he surprised me when he brought me back to the bike shop to buy a brand new bike!

It is said that irreversible damages occurs when a boy plays with Polly Pockets during his childhood. You are the best evidence to that statement.

I applaud at your initiative to move these cows home but my sincere apologies I am unable to make it as I have a Picnic for the Brudderhood. Squid... you're in this as well. Don't be oblivious to it. Call me if unsure!

I presume your piston is already cleaned, hence nobody can "piston read" it.

Also it would be quite impossible to tell as by right, pistons are measured for wear (in microns I think) then a replacement is considered at this point. Unless again , the piston is not cleaned and can be "piston read" to see any symptoms. A good running engine can easily last 60,000 to 80,000 km minimum with good care.

hello peeps! got some qns about engine/engine oil here. ive been using esso 4T gold since getting my 2nd hand FU kr. but sad to say, my first EO change comes only 2 months+ after i got my bike. (becos of my mini knowledge @ that time) :giddy: i know its a worrying scenario. and my engine doesnt sound like a normal KR now. :help:

1. im thinking of switching to Maxima Extra 4 EO 15w50. does it helps in 'improving' my engine condition??

2. do my top speed gets higher?

2. any idea of places doing gd overhaul in spore & jb? the prices??

3. what do they change when doing overhaul??

thanxx in advance :cheeky: (kR seniors pls guide me)
