Kawasaki KRR150 Riders

Hello there KRR member,

I`m new here, just bought KRR ZX150 few week ago, wonder why the front side mirror location/install in such a way, can`t see clearly when over taking on the right or left. Worst still when wearing a jacket, totally can`t see much , have to look thro` a shoulder b4 over taking.

By the way is blind spot mirror help? Comment pls.

once u wear ur jacket, then adjust the mirror again. blind spot mirror?? how come i haven heard of it? i mean, if there is... y are we learning to turn our heads to check blind spots when we can juz use the mirror u r talking abt?

i have a prob so i'll try my best to describe it.

 

i)when i start my bike every morning, i warm it up as usual....3.5krpm for 5 mins.

ii)before i ride off, my clutch is alr at biting pt and i throttle but as i throttle, the bike is abt to die off....only when i throttle even more.. the bike immediately has a lot of power and rides off fast jerking mi a lil.

 

wat could be the prob?? i've experience this a few times but i tot i didn't warm up my bike properly.. but after a while i realise that wasn't the case. pls advise...thx guys.

it'll be fine. usually sats it'll be jam as ppl trying to get back to JB for the weekend. today is sunday..now ppl are rushing back. u might be in a jam when u r coming back.

u are wrong then.. sunday area around pusat bandar is PACKED with cars of singaporean shoppers and our fellow malaysian shoppers. but poses nothing to bikes as u can weave in between them.. problem is some moron drivers juz suddenly change lane so becareful.

adjust it to be wider.. till u can check the traffic on the next lane.. not too close to u until u can see ur jacket in the mirror.. get it?

at neutral when u are warming up.. try to rev the throttle till abt 5-6k once or twice.. tt'll solve the problem =P

i yest riding my bike off (forgetinh to turn oil tank from "off" to "on") but i can still travel 40km to tampines without any problem... is my petrol tank switch spoilt???

how cum i turn it off still can go for so long

but i quite lucky ..heng nv suddenly engine stall on expressway..

after changing my coolant my ride is more smoother.... can feel a little bit of power increament.... went to jb yesterday... usually if i din off engine and push...temperature will climb to half the temperature meter...but after changing to maxima cool-aide temperature onli 1 quater of the meter.... very good product.... cheap also....onli S$16... got it from racewerkz...

(p.s i not maxima salesman... just sharing my experience....)

ya i just went around 4... super no jam... come back also no jams!! very fast....

went petrol bought cig and came back..

 

btw while i was at moneychanger, got those kind of begger came with an unbrella to wipe my bike... i give them some money and they left...

after that then i found out their cloth actually scratch my fuel tank... the reflective shiny look was gone, replaced with scratches...

 

anyway to get back the beauty and shine??

dun think its possible becoz u r the one who's riding it therefore u've gotta take the pts.

 

hey guys, change from 95 tp 92 got an diff? will spoil the engine or anything?

hie ppl..

i juz bought a 2nd hand kr ft plate a few days ago... and realised that there's lotsa white smoke!!! esp when i warm up every morning.. dont really haf this prob when im on the expressway. y ah? need to clear carbon? or need to tune so that my 2t feeds lesser?

p/s these 2 qns are given my other ppl.. so im not so sure myself!

yr 2t maybe open to big... i had the same problem also.... usually i ride ard 100km/h on expressway... but after my 1st accident (fell on pizza hut bike) i go very slow even on expressway...about 70km/h.... then realize got alot of smoke.... after awhile i go fast again then no more smoke lioz.... anyway i just telling my experience...not asking u to speed or wat...just tune down yr 2t intake shd be ok... or it could be yr 2t u are using also.... hope this helps....

altho alot of pple will say they go so many times n change oso nth happen, but i still believe that oni takes 1 day a person is down on his luck...

theres nothing wrong with the switch just that it wasnt completely at OFF position

never ever rev a cold engine more than half of its rpm even when stationary

need to decarbonise ya exhaust pipe as smoke comes from them burning within

 

from there ya could trouble-shoot whether the 2-t needs to lower ornot

 

keep finger cross that is not gasket burned ( ho seh liao )

problem seems normal to me

usually this happens to my bike too when engine oil gets older or when i use cheaper oil like castrol power1

i tink there's smth wrong w/ the fuel switch

not too well i guess
